Can’t go wrong with this make. They having been going for a long time. Good for early leaning. Haven’t used it yet as it’s a Christmas pressie but I know I won’t be disappointed

Big target. Great for using with young bowlers.Bowls run easily over it on grass or indoors

Nice idea, but the frisbees themselves are rubbish

The media could not be loaded.  The summers coming and the grandchildren are visiting, so what’s better than to drag them away from the TV and computer screens, with this garden target game, with frisbees.You get a fabric target, 4 plastic stakes to secure it in the ground and 4 plastic frisbees, so you can play with up to 4 people or even teams, to get the highest score.Lay the target on a flat surface, peg it down, then measure a short distance away from it and throw the frisbee and try and get it on the centre red circle, or bullseye 🎯 if part of the frisbee touches the next colour then that is deemed to be on that colour and counts, that’s how we play it anyway, just like archery. You can play it for a certain number of rounds, adding up the totals as you go along.We found it great fun for the little ones, and dragged them outside in the fresh air.Suitable for garden lawns, public parks, the beach etc. everyone loved it and we’re happy to recommend.

This is a well-made, simple, sizeable outdoor target game. The set consists of a large, non-woven fabric target mat, four plastic ground pegs to secure the mat, 4 different coloured frisbees, allowing up to 4 players to take part in a game, and a cardboard score sheet (easy to photograph and print out for more, if wanted). The target mat is printed with scores on the different coloured zones, though for younger players this could just be turned into a colour recognition/matching/targeting exercise. There are metal hole reinforcers surrounding holes for the mat to be fastened down.The plastic pegs are fine at the moment, but we have a hard clay soil that dries out and bakes hard in warm weather, and we’d struggle to use these then.The set comes beautifully packaged (this is a standard for Jaques) – in a smartly-printed brown box, tied round with a Jaques brand ribbon, all of which is covered in shrink wrap. Inside there was a little card indicating the name of the person who packed the set I received. This is a nice, personal touch.The one thing that wasn’t quite so impressive was that the company seem to be running some kind of competition where random boxes amongst those with a sticker on the outside asking if there is “treasure inside” get a card with a winning token which entitles them to a prize – a cash amount discount on Jaques products or a percentage off. My nephews were really excited to find a card announcing “Congratulations! You are a winner!” inside the box.We went to the web address linked and tried to enter the code on our supposed ‘winning’ card, only to get a message that the code “isn’t recognised”. We’ve checked and re-checked and are definitely entering the code as it appears on our card.

We have had great fun with this. It needs more pegs to hold the target down and is probably over priced for what it is, but it provided a lot of fun when our grandchildren were staying with us.

Was so looking forward to receiving this. The packaging was lovely and the game itself is fun, lovely idea. Sadly it ripped out of the peg holes within minutes so a bit of a waste of money to be honest, gutted.
