Hi more then enuff to make you pie eye or face down in the dirt with or with out ICE

Q: Are the dimensions listed measured at the top or at the bottom?

I think it depends on which size you get. I purchased the 7.5 gallon model. The Amazon listing states "24-inch w by 14-inch d by 6.3-inch h". That isn't the size for the 7.5 gallon. It's more like 18x11x6 (at the top).

Q: Could this work as a kitchen sink with some DIY adjustments

Personally I do not think it is strong enough to be a kitchen sink, plus may rust. I only used it for apple dunking, so am not sure.
