Fan and ice cooler works great

I’m totally and absolutely dissatisfied and disappointed after waiting all that time. This fan is weak, you have to be very close to it in hot weather to feel any relief. The ice melts so fast and water evaporates so fast, every time you turn around, ur refilling it. It is TRIPLE DIGIT HOT here and this gives NO RELIEF! I bought this because my friends air conditioning unit no longer works and it was scorching. Our Walmart fan cools better than this. And then when reading the instructions, it’s too much unscrewing and taking apart that has to happen too often to clean this or that. I’m totally disgusted with this fan, biggest let down this year and I’ve shopped Amazon for years. Only thing I can say is it’s pretty quiet, and thats all. Never again.

This fan is as quiet and has the same output as any regular tower fan you can buy from Walmart. Other than that, I noticed no difference in the chill mode, even using one of the ice packs it comes with. Which was disappointing. Another reason I chose this version is because they stated you can easily remove the water tank for filling up (and I assumed cleaning) and the photo shows this. That was misleading since the tank actually has the motor screwed down in it and can’t be just taken out. I regret buying this as it really isn’t worth the cost. And in case any one was curious, the chill mode only can be on for 2-3 hours before the tank hits the min mark.

Had this "evaporative cooler" about 1 week. The fan tower does cool a little better than a regular humidifier with ice and cold water in it because the fan is a little stronger. It cools a little better than a small regular fan because it does have the water feature. The oscillation works well so far, as does the remote. However, the fan is not very strong as fans go; on the highest speed you can get some reasonable air flow sitting about 5-6 feet away. It does not drop the temperature in the room - it just feels cooler when you sit directly in front of it. One main issue - the water reservoir is Tiny. We have to fill it every 1-2 hours on a hot dry day. Because of this, we cannot run it when no one is around (for pets or at night for example) - it does not shut off automatically - and is constant work to keep full. So, bottom line, it helps some but it is not worth the price (over $100 US).

Purchased for the summer, followed instructions on how to operate. Used even 2 ice packs at once and didn't drop our interior temperature a single degree. Regular fan works the same.Update 7/6: Bumped up stars for good customer service and quick refund.

The media could not be loaded.  I really liked this product and very happy to replace my old standing fan with this new fan.You don’t need any tools to assemble, I like new mechanism where stand can lock and secured without screws or screw drivers.Remote and sense button works well.

The main problem with this is that it doesn't cool at all, it pretty much sucks up water and within 2 hours it's empty and you basically don't feel any cooling effects from the thing. It's basically a tower fan with a useless water tank at the bottom. Even if you put in the little ice packs it doesn't cool. Your better off just getting a regular tower fan, this thing is loud at even the lowest setting, and at the highest setting it's extremely loud.

This definitely is disappointing as a cooler and does not blow very strong even as a fan. Overall I am not impressed. The room it is being used in is not very large and it does not work as well as my standard, cheap fan with out evaporative cooling.
