DONT BUY. GET A BOOSTED BOARD THIS THING SUCKS
Bro this thing is WHACK. Me and my friend both got one and we both have the same problems. We treat our boards like they where our child and they still suck and have so many problems. Power will cut out wilhile I am riding for no reason and then come back at full power also if not touching the remote and that is very dangerous. Wheels make weird noises while riding like if they are broken and about to fall off and they sent me 2 new rear wheels and said it would fix the problem so I changed them myselfe which took like 3 hours and was very frustrating. Still makes the noise nothing changed. Most times it wont even go 22 mph also in the fastest mode. It absolutely sucks. My phone never managed to connect to the board either so that's fun. This thing is so trash and because there is a 2 year warrant they should really get me a replacement and if also that one malfunctions i demand a refund. I should have just gotten a boosted board they are so much better and dont have so many stupid problems that just piss me off so much.

True and honest review from a very experienced e-boarder
So let me start off with the M1 itself. This board was very different from anything else I had ridden before I purchased it back in 2017. They had just put out the update at the time and I never rode the board with the old firmware which had less torque and slower speeds. So right out of the box, I was slightly impressed. It doesn't have the acceleration of a belt drive system, but it wasn't a huge gap either. Maybe 75% of the torque I got from my boosted V2 dual+ back then. The main reason I bought this board was that the batteries were swappable! This was a huge game-changer that no one else was doing. First impressions, I liked it. It was still a quick board, decent speed, decent range and I had purchased 2 extra batteries, giving me 3 total. So my range was incredible! I fell in love with this board as a native boosted rider since the kickstarter days. It's a decent board and it's super sleek, really attractive, built-in lights, brake lights, battery bay for super quick swaps. Now let's talk about the company.Inboard: this company kinda upsets me a little bit. You first have to understand that inboard was treated like the red-headed stepchild to the boosted board which isn't very fair considering the continued progress inboard was making on their equipment. Boosted didn't have swappable batteries, lights, brake lights, or anything really. Yet despite all this effort people would still down talk inboard. This is mainly because in the e-board community hub motors (which inboard used) were seen as inferior to belt-drive systems (which boosted uses.) But honestly if inboard just turned around in response by putting 4 hubs on a newer board that would have quickly changed people's minds. Anyways, back on track. Eventually, inboard got fed up with the e-board community and turned away to the scooter community, again putting out an incredible product. But in the end, they gave up on that too, saying they don't want to deal with customers having problems and all the customer service issues. This was a really awesome company once which completely fell apart now. It's rather upsetting to see something cool like that go to waste. There are always going to be issues with products, you just need to sort out a good customer service system, set it and forget it. Also, they could have benefitted from better marketing.

Awesome board
I have been using my board for more than two years and it still runs great. I have bought two additional batteries to extend my range. It is much easier to ride than a normal skateboard because of the regenerative breaking, so going down large hills you break (and charge the battery) versus a traditional longboard where you continue picking up speed. Another great feature is in hub/wheel motors that allow the board to glide with minimal speed lose by centering the flex controller; versus belt driven boards that always have drag so if you are not driving the motors, it slows quickly. The board has several settings (basic, intermediate and advanced modes). I have found the non-advanced modes are good for learning, otherwise i’m On advanced mode. The board’s top speed is about 22 mph (a truck passed me and yelled you know your doing 22mph), and it has good torque and climbs hills easily (the torque has improved remarkably over the 4+ firmware upgrades.I typically throw the board in the trunk, park, and then head to my final destination. Rang varies based on hills and your weight, but i’m About 210lbs and get from 7-10 miles per battery. The great thing is when a battery dies (your flex controller will start to vibrate as you get close to the end of battery charge), I just swap with a fully charged battery and keep going. The board is constructed very well, and the inboard folks are great. Highly recommend the M1 board!

Do not buy this.
My battery sparked and then didn’t work at all the second time i charged it. They sent me a new one and it worked for around 10 rides and now it won’t even charge. I think the actual charger is broken now. Now they aren’t making these boards anymore too, so don’t expect any support if you do have issues. Dont buy one, save up a little more and get an evolve or just buy a meepo board. Much better products.
