I've washed 5 hats of different colors so far using these hat washing cages. They've all come out nicely washed with the sweat and sunscreen stains mostly gone. I use the top rack of the dishwasher with a cascade platinum pack. I also have some jet dry loaded in the rinse aid tank and it didn't harm any hats. A couple of them I treated with oxy stain spray first. Hats come out clean, fresh, and in tact. I don't put any dirty dishes in the bottom rack because I wouldn't want food getting sprayed up into the hats so I just run a quick cycle. The cages seem quite flimsy so I'm careful with the clips. Not sure if they'll last very long but I like the results so far.

Did a great job on my husband's caps in the dishwasher. Kept their shape and got clean.

These are perfect for my husband! He has a collection of really nice, satin-lined hats. We had one of these that my mother had from way back in the day and I got this pack so hubs can do a load of hats in the dishwasher. They're a little more flimsy than the other one, but they work. One hat needed to be shaped a bit when it came out, but it wasn't a big deal. For the price, I might buy another set so we can wash everything at once.

They are pretty cheaply made. I use them to wash hats in the dishwasher they work for that but they are also hard to open and close

I had a nice black ball cap that I wanted to wash. I ordered the hat cages and was excited when I got them. I washed the rack I used in the kitchen sink with dish soap and wiped it down before putting my cap in it. The plastic clips weren’t the easiest to open but also didn’t seem very sturdy. I thought they might break. I washed the cap in the cage on its own in cold water with a gentle detergent for dark clothes.When I took it out of the washer, the cap had moved around since because the rear clip came undone The cap was still in the cage though because the front clips stayed connected. When I took the cap out I was upset to find that where the white plastic had touched the black fabric it was now white (around the edge, across the front, & along the center to seem and button).Very disappointed in the poor quality of this product and that it ruined on of my favorite caps!! I will be returning these to Amazon.

We have had a cap washer for years and think it is great. This year it will be a surprise at Christmas for all three of our children and their kiddos. They all wear caps and they definitely get dirty!

Terrible. Not worth the price at all. I had to tie them closed because they break apart and the hats come out during a wash which defeats the purpose. Very cheaply made and flimsy. They’re also huge. If it was max $10 for 3 then maybe wouldn’t be as bad but for the cost it is it’s not worth it.
