We have been living in our home for almost 21 years. It is only one step (6") from the walkway into the house, so we've never made much of having to hoist something heavy over the step. We're older now, and the potential harm to back, shoulders, or knees hauling in a heavy weight, has suddenly become of more concern. The final straw was watching my adult kids struggling to drag heavy suitcases over the step. The ramp changes everything. It has sufficient heft to be stable and strong, but still lightweight enough to make it easy to pick up and store when not needed. I am very pleased with this product. It's an easy, affordable solution to a sticky problem.

Excellent ramp for wheelchair use.

I like the fact that it folds up and is very slim when storing. Solidly built but lightweight. I use it as a ramp to bring firewood into the house so I can honestly say it holds alot of weight (me and a wagon full of firewood) with no give whatsoever. I was worried that it may slip or move but the dimensions and angle prevent it from moving even slightly. This is not the intended use but saves my back tremendously!!!

Make sure you go by the handicap guide lines for wheelchair ramps, even though my hight was 30 inches high and 50 inches in length a 5 foot ramp was too steep otherwise it was sturdy and portable, I ordered the 10 foot ramp
