We LOVE this snuffle mat for our 14 week old lab puppy! It works for now, but not sure how long this will work as he grows. I usually put some of his food (tiny kibble) all over the snuffle mat for him and sprinkle it every where and in every little fold possible while he's not in the room and then when ready, let him go and he LOVES it! It keeps him distracted for a decent amount of time and he looks forward to it every time he sees it out! Its a great size for him right now and doesn't take up a ton of space in the house when it's on the floor and it can be rolled up to store and take with you any where. Definitely one of my favorite purchases for puppies!

I have a weiner dog who wildly intelligent and therefore easily bored. one thing that he can do for hours, however, is dig and burrow. I was looking into getting him something to keep him occupied while I worked from home and needed some time to actually do work and he loves this. it satisfies his digging and sniffing urges, though I don’t forsee this product lasting super long. I wish the base was less flimsy and that the drawstring was a little better. I have had many big dogs in my life and I don’t know if this would work for a large breed. It’s relatively easy to clean and doesn’t get too dirty. I mostly use it just for digging purposes and not too much for feeding or treats, especially because my doxie has a pointy snout so he’s able to sus the treats out pretty quick. Overall, this is a good product for dachshunds or dogs that have the urge to sniff and dig a lot but I think you couldn’t use this with larger dogs.

My dog loves it, but it's not super durable. The whole thing is basically made of felt. She's already chewed through a few of the petals, and I had to cut out the drawstring because she kept gnawing on the plastic part (she's only 12 weeks old). Wouldn't recommend for puppies because of the unsafe plastic part. I'm glad I bought it because I know now that she likes snuffle mats and I can get her a better quality one, but honestly I'd save your money and go with something more durable.

This is my dogs' new favorite thing! I have 2 dogs and one is faster at finding the food in the mat than the other, but they both love it and get excited whenever they see me preping the mat with their "treats" (which is actually just a different type of kibble than they usually get). They are both chewers, but so far they haven't chewed on the mat itself. I ordered a second snuffle mat the day I received this one so they could each have their own. The mat is made of felt and is very stiff right out of the package. I haven't washed either one yet, but I expect they'll soften up after being washed. They're the perfect size for my dachshunds and are easy to use. So far this has been one of the best value dog toy purchases that I've made in the last 10 years.

An inexpensive way to keep your pup busy! I see other reviews where the dog has figured out to shake it to get the treats out. I keep it mostly closed so he had to really dig around with his nose, and he really enjoys it! That isn’t to say he won’t eventually figure out a way to shake it to dislodge the treats, but so far he’s enjoying it as intended, and it’s been worth the price.

I use this so often and it keeps my dog entertained. I’m glad I bought this.

Mon chien adore chercher ses friandises dans ce jeu et il y réussi très bien avec quelques efforts ce qui est stimulant pour lui. Les couleurs sont attrayantes. Le tissus des lamelles restes quelques peu pliées mais je réussi à y cacher correctement les friandises. Seul défaut est la corde qui commence déjà à s'effilocher et ce n'est pas mon chien qu'il l'a mâchée !

The mat itself is good and I like the size of it, however the drawstring and plastic clasp thing quickly became a chew toy for my dog and he broke it before I could stop him. He also outsmarted the mat and ended up just flipping the whole thing over for his treats, lol. So I'd personally pass on this one due to the drawstring element.
