Easy to use w/Torque - 2006 BMW 330cI
Easy to use. I lost a previous reader and this was the replacement. I used it with Torque on my phone supporting my 2006 BMW 330Ci. It identified two fault codes. I replaced the thermostat and intake boot identified by the fault codes. The codes were cleared and that made me happy.

Worked for a bit but then it literally screwed up the ECU
It worked fine for a bit but then it wouldnt connect at all. I tried leaving it in the obd2 for a bit to see if it would but then it threw my cars abs light and traction control light on, and it broke my obd2 port until i unplugged the battery.

This thing actually works
Compared to others I've tried this thing is amazing, it connects and works smoothly. I'm familiar with the torque app it has you use because of my old one that stopped working. I love this thing!

Great tool for the value
The OBD2 Scanner Bluetooth SinoTrack Auto Diagnostic Scan Tool is a great tool for the price. I use it to connect to the Torque Pro App on my 2001 Silverado 1500 2wd that has a LS 6.0 LQ9 Swap. The app in combination with the Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner allow me to see different gauges that my regular display does not track, such as acceleration, 0-60, 1/8 of a mile, and 1/4 of mile times. In addition, I am able to run diagnostics and clear fault codes. The diagnostics is very accurate and it connects to Google to search for possible solutions on the code displayed. It definitely has more functionality on the app side that I have not explored. The only issues that I have had so far is with the connection. There are times that I have to turn off and back on the Bluetooth settings just to make it connect. Sometimes even though it is paired to my phone, it loses the communication and I have to restart. I would like to try installing a tablet on it to keep it on all the time.Overall, I am very happy with this product. It is a great way to diagnose problems with your car and track your performance. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable OBD2 scanner.Pros:AffordableEasy to useConnects to Torque Pro AppAccurate diagnosticsConnects to Google to search for solutionsMore functionality available in the appCons:Sometimes the connection is unstableWould be nice to have a way to keep it on all the timeOverall:A great product for the price. Would definitely recommend it.

Love this little device
This is a game changer in the car world. It's suggests that you used a certain app but any obd2 app will work. There are many free ones as well. I have one in every car including my daughter's and it's saved us many times from needless repairs.

Overpriced unit for what it does
Only gotten it to connect to ECM with one app, and the values presented seem to be off, at least on fuel trims. Most apps, the dongle refuses to actually connect to ECM. I would go with a different unit...BASF one has always done me well

I like! I'm getting another
This is a really nice, full-featured unit (along with the free software). It was easy to install and set up. I like that it reads the computers from all the devices throughout the car. You can configure it for very nearly your class of car (e.g. Mazda with Skyactiv drivetrain). This makes it possible for a passenger to read fault codes on the fly (e.g. if the Check Engine Light comes on while traveling on an interstate with few exits. It gives a quick answer to the question of whether we should pull over NOW, or whether we are OK until the next exit or our final destination. We like it enough that we're getting another one for our other car. Please note that the dongle is sort of large. We have ours plugged in to a space-saver 2-way splitter, which solves that problem. I would recommend doing this even if you don't have a second device, so that your legs don't bump the device.

Do not buy!!!
The app needed to use this is loaded with so many bugs my phone gives me 4 reasons not to use this app. Such as, it uses my contact info, my gallery, my internet search history and it's plain harmful to my phones operations. Junk product. No reason for the app to have access to any of those.
