Good food! Tiny gripes.
I'm really impressed with this food. A little goes a long way, my Budgie and Bourke love it, the ingredients impress me, and for the price and how long it will last, (it's virtually no waste)I feel like it's a good deal. Here are my *two* complaints, that I haven't docked a star for, because I feel they're smell enough.Gripe 1: I don't like how the food claims it's a complete food that you don't need to supplement with anything. This heavily effects my opinion of a parrot food brand. ALL parrots need to have the mental stimulation and vitamin content of fresh veggies and/or fruits. I'm the kind of person that would never just take a parrot food's word on something like that, but not everyone is. No good can come of discouraging owners to supplement with other foods. Plus I am team budgies-and-grass-parrakeets-NEED-some-high-quality-whole-seed-in-their-diet, but that's another conversation. Obviously this gripe doesn't relate to the quality of the food, just my own personal knowledge and beliefs on parrot diet.Gripe 2: It smells, to me, like fruity vomit. I hate the smell. Thankfully it's not strong enough to bother me except when I'm actively sniffing it to confirm that, yes, still smells that way, but ymmv.Overall it's a good food that I feel good about feeding my birds. I'd recommend it.

Parakeets will eat it
The parakeets would not eat other pellets. They will eat this food if you follow the instructions and mix with seeds or whatever their previous food is for the first few weeks. The color looks good, it smells fresh, fruity, and maybe a bit toasty. The parakeets look as good as ever and seem to enjoy the food as much as or more than seeds. It is a bit more expensive than other pellets but I consider it worth it considering they would not touch the other pellets despite mixing.

Healthy food....
Not sure how healthy this is after reading alot of the ingredients. I really thought this was going to be a game changer for my birds, I can't even sneak it into their food. The smell is strong, not pleasant. I will keep trying, update if I get them to eat.

Ugh.....
I have this food,it's not returnable. I'm stuck with a whole bag of food the parakeets won't touch.Waste of $20.Don't waste your money,if they want you to try it,they should offer smaller sample bags! Didn't smell great, more like sand texture than a pellet.

It’s working
It do smells bad lol but I start mixing it with my hand feed formula for my 3 weeks old parakeets and they seems to like it! And based on company they saying you’ll have to provide it in stages and not immediately and alone for the birds! they will refuse it I guess. As long as it’s good for them that’s all I need for them to grow strong and healthy.

Birds love it!
I have tried other pellet bird food and my birds (a budgie and Rosy Bourke) refused to eat them. This is almost like a ground meal, smells fruity and, most importantly, they seem to love it! Happy to be able to add another food variety to their meals. I will continue ordering this.

Gritty
Very gritty and does not resolve with water at all. It's like corn meal consistency.

Nutritious
This micro mix is very fine. I use it sprinkled on my wet seed/vegetable plate that I offer up. It sticks to the wet and they ingest it that way.
