So I'll start by saying I bought into this type of multi-use product sometime ago. My surface 8 pro was already connected with one very similar for sometime. I had no issues.Enter my daughter with her own surface 8 and a bad charger. (Original). She wanted to borrow my charger to get set for a gig and needed a full charge. NP I got her all set and mentioned the multi use and all the benefits over the very breakable MS unit she has already replaced at least 2 times. She wasn't crazy about the price tag but I had already been looking into a new and "better" device. So out comes my phone and I buy this one. I give my daughter the good news and a hand me down has her all set for her needs.I get delivery a day or so later and unbox and hook it up. WAWAWAWAWAWHAT? LOW Charging.So here I am.I NEVER expected this for the price paid. I did go back looking for where it said high speed charging..... nope. Then I looked for 'slow charging only' Yet again - NOPE!I blame myself for an assumption I made about this. But there is something to be said about the vendor who might have made it CLEAR that somethings were left out for all the other stuff they crammed in. I could have had the opportunity to weight those facts and not find myself cringing at this unexpected development. It definitely put my excitement on hold and my daughter now protects her hand-me-down as if I would take it back. She knows me all too well.

working from home means I need bigger screens to see the work, and that meant a bigger docking station for my office-issued Microsoft Surface laptop. I now have two monitors and my headphones connected and can actually work effectively! I love it!

The dock works great and charges my surfacebook pro 4. Only downside is that the gigabit network port is only giving me 10/100 speed. I tested the same connected cable on a different dock and got full 1000mbps without an issue, so the issue is definitely with this dock’s network card. Aside from that, all other ports work great - running dual hdmi monitor on it with no issue.

I got this to replace an amazon basics dock I had that just ran sluggish. This runs better, however the resolution on my extended monitors only goes up to 1920x1080, which makes everything bigger on most of my apps. Really annoying. Also, the power plug that goes into the surface has to go in the right side up, otherwise it doesnt work. My setup had my surface power cord going in upside down due to cable routing. This made me have to rearrange everything.

I found this device to operate well. Except that the charge rate is very slow and that combined audio output Jack produced a background buzz when connected to speakers. Workaround was to just connect speakers directly to MS Surface Laptop Jack. I liked the HDMI port to the monitor.

I purchased this product for my Surface Pro 9, and as soon as I plugged it in, I get the slow charger reading. Will give an update but wasn't expecting this. I also have the UAG case on the Surface Pro 9, and the adapter isn't able to seat all the way with the cover on. I have to pull it to the side to get the adapter to seat properly in the surface pro.

My first dock that was sent must have been a lemon. My screens kept blinking and the HDMI cables were connecting/disconnecting. I troubleshooted with the seller and after no success, they sent me a new dock which works amazing. Great product and service.

It works and it has enough ports for all my peripherals. I still ended up using one USB A to C converter as there are only 2 USB A ports, but that's way better than the surface pro 8's zero. My external monitor connects well.

I purchased this item after a Microsoft docking station product failed after a few years of use.This worked for about 8 months, and then the element connecting the station to my Surface Pro no longer could hold a connection.Fearing it might be my Surface Pro, I connected my normal power element to it, and... no problem. At home, on travel, in the air, that worked fine.If anyone else has had this problem, and fixed it, I'd love to hear (and will amend this review). Otherwise I will have to buy another docking station, but it will not be this product.

This dock works well and has lots of ports for multiple uses. So far so good!

It overheats quickly. Headphone jacks will stop working as it overheats.Can't power hdmi and multi usb at the same time, making it unusable for a desk dock.

Worked great at first, then the displays just stopped working after just under 2 months. USB ports were fine, but now there are no signals going to the monitors.UPDATE:It’s seems a recent update had changed my display settings. The monitors now work after some reconfiguration.

This worked great for a while but quickly began glitching out turning my monitors on and off. I just ended up buying 2 usb c cables instead and haven’t had a problem with the monitors since. This is faulty quality and a waste of my money.
