Star Wars Galactic Heroes Imperial at-at Fortress

This is a great Star Wars toy for younger kids. Made by Disney, it is the quality you would expect. This is an Imperial Walker, or AT-AT. (Being a forty something, I had Star Wars toys myself). I was surprised to learn that multiple toy companies have licences to make Star Wars toys.These toys by Disney are great for the younger children. My nephew is 4, and he was able to use and work most of the features. But I wouldn't buy this for an older kid...the toys are not exact replicas and an older kid---say 9 or so--might think it childish.Looking for the Imperial Walker specifically, I found about half a dozen manufacturers, from $30 to $400! This cost about $40.Also, all of the pieces and charecters fit interchangeably with other Disney toys (e.g.Han Solo from a Millennium Falcon toy fit and gripped parts of the Imperial Walker).As a kid born in the 70s, the Imperial Walker toy at the time was really expensive--even too expensive for a Christmas present--but I always wanted one. I also bought the Millennium Falcon from the same manufacturer.This toy is not appropriate for a kid under 4...there are too many pieces.The toy had intersting features and good detail, especially for a young kids' toy.If you are buying for a 5-7 year old that is into Star Wars, this is a slam dunk.

3 kids six to nine years. They love this. The middle one had been asking for an AT-AT for sometime, so one day I just started looking online and found this. Had not seen this galactic heroes in stores before the lock-down, They all love Star Wars but many of the toys that we have bought are really not play friendly. They end up sitting on a display shelf. This set is made for play. Sturdy, great mechanic features for enhanced imaginative play. Although more cartoonish in look, still not baby-like. Will be purchasing more from this galactic heroes line of star wars toys.

Perfect for Star Wars fans. Durable, tons of features, the sides open, there are 3 guns that can be shot., the front opens to place a guy in position, they have the drop out at the bottom in the cylinder where you can drop figures. My only dislike is the way you pop the arms off the guy to place the next set of arms in. Wonderful price too!

These are some of the most well-made and fun toys my kids have ever owned. I am a mother to four Star-Wars loving boys, ages 6-12, and all four of them are NUTS about this set! The details are fantastic, and the toys are well-made, heavy, and durable. Even my 12yo asked for more pieces of this collection for Christmas. They play with this for hours at a time most days!

I bought this for my 4 year old son. I was slightly worried because he's not hugely into star wars so I didn't know how much he'd actually play with it. It's been about a month, and he's played with it every day. It's holding up well so far, and he plays rough. I marked it down 1 star only because afterward I saw kohls has the same toy, but it comes with more people. Kind of wish I would've bought that one.

Just bought this for my 3 year old son and he loves it! I was looking at another Playskool AT AT on Amazon that costed twice as much and they look almost the same. A great price for an AT AT toy. Goes great with his other Galactic Heroes toys. My only complaint is that the side doors are hard to open and he needs my help to open them. Other than that, great toy.

I purchased this for my grandson whose a starwars lover. He has all the latest collections. This piece was larger and sturdier than what I expected. As far as durability ... it's kid proof by a 6 year old standards

This ATAT walker came inside a plain brown box. Not the packaging shown when making the purchase. Inside, everything was in a plastic bag with no pictures or directions to see how anything works. While it isn’t too hard to figure out, it’s not how a purchase should come. My grandson couldn’t wait for this present but I am truly disappointed with overall presentation.

I bought two of these toys. One for my 8 year old son and another for his 7 year old friend. The product is great quality, nice looking and has a ton of features to play with for them. My son is a Star Wars fanatic and the Galactic Heroes collection is fantastic quality and definitely worth the investment.

My son has been playing with this set for 5 months. It is nicer than the photos and is holding up well.

Better than I expected! The price was great for something that can be used for very imaginative play sessions. The large unit is sturdy and the characters don't have too many moving parts so that will save on wear and tear but could be a problem if you are looking for more realistic figures. It only "works" with the smaller specific star wars figures because they are the only ones that will fit inside.

The toy is awesome! It has a lot of functionality and does look like the one in the movie (which is a really important feature for my kid).
