All around decent piece
Great quality for the price. As was mentioned in previous reviews, there's a misspelling where is says PUSH OPEN. Kind of annoying because it looks like a high quality piece, but the typo is a tell tale sign it's a knock off. But it does hold tight, gives my scope perfect eye relief, and is constructed very well.

Far better than what I had been expecting
Received the vertically jointed mount version with the screws in the horizontal orientation (some reviewers posted pics of units with ring screws oriented vertically). The one I got looks like an ADM Recon knock-off, which is why I couldn't resist at a cheap $27. I put an inexpensive 30mm tube riflescope I bought years prior--also here on Amazon--as a "distance" scope for an earlier AR build. Not a scope capable of great image quality but still usable with anything 30-06 or lighter recoiling.I didn't have high hopes for the mount but so far it's held zero after 60 rounds fired over four range sessions of firing .270WIN, as well as two sessions of roughly 120 rounds of 300BLK. The alloy used is very light and it's quite doubtful that it's "aircraft quality" like so many domestic scope mount companies always seem to claim that their similar but far more expensive products are. I have to say that for now that I'm satisfied that this example of one will be up to the task of holding up to live fire.So why not 5 stars? Well the QD tension adjustment left a bit of a gap between settings, so on some Pic rails of apparently questionable spec that I tried securing the mount to it was hard to find a setting that would work 'just right'. An example is the receiver rail on my SIG MPX, which is not a true MIL-1913 spec rail but some offshoot, stylized version that apparently is slightly off in overall width compared to rails on other rifle receivers. I had a difficult time finding the QD tension setting that allowed the QD levers to hold firm to the MPX rail without it being 'too tight' of a setting that the QD release lever would actually release without some amount of struggle. I also found that between the two QD levers that they didn't hold with quite the same tension force where I could actually match the two lever release efforts (the rear QD lever takes a bit more effort to open after being mounted on a rail). However the lockdown detent that holds the QD levers in the closed position is very positive once the QD is set in the locked position, and that's very much a good thing with any optic.Overall the rings held to the scope tube very well; I marked the top centerline on the scope tube during its installation and so far I could not discern any shift or rotation in the scope within the rings after any of the live fire sessions. Tightening the rings was a little laborious because of the sideways screw orientation, but I've come to expect that with such lightweight ring and mount assemblies, regardless of price and who manufactured them. Balanced, even tightening of each the securing screws was mandatory to keep from inducing any roll shifting of the scope within the rings. But taking my time it was all still pretty straightforward stuff. Blue threadlock was used to hold the fastening screws in place, and the recommended 24 hours of drying time was given prior to the first range session for the threadlock to cure to maximum strength.Fit and finish was okay but somewhat expected given the price point. In a 'price-no-object' world I would've downgraded it more but this unit is VERY inexpensive compared to what else is available. There were a few scuffs and a couple of scratches on the QD levers that exposed the underlying aluminum below, but none of it was too dramatic that it would demand a replacement. I don't doubt that this mount would be damaged upon any hard fall or impact; at this price the grade of aluminum used is going to be on the cheaper end of the spectrum. So the sage advice is to NOT drop your rifle, which when out in the real world can be sometimes hard to do.Then again this is a relatively cheap, lightweight mount. And it so far works as one should expect a decent scope mount to work. Plus from 4 or 5 feet away it looks pretty good...as long as you don't squint too much.A decent 4 star effort.

Not too shabby.....
For a QD one piece scope mount under 30 bucks. it appears to be built half way decent. Clamped on just fine on my M&P 15-22, but barely had enough clearance with the flip-up ocular cover on to clear the Magpul rear flip-up sight. It does set the scope a little more forward than I'd like, but I can live with it. It's no LaRue, Bobro, or ADM mount, but for an el-cheapo QD mount that only going on a rimfire rifle, it's good enough.

looks good BUT will not tighten to lock on rail
ordered this mount for a 300 blk project. unboxed, looks great, latched onto an extra upper I have and seemed ok but latch down lever did not take much force to close. Got to part of project to start looking at scope mount options and put this unit onto the S&W upper, again a little loose put I had not adjusted the off side lock plate nuts, ok, Tryed to move those nuts and even after heating with a mocro torch NO GO in ether direction. SO this mount is unusable till I figure some way to make something out of it. If you buy one to use. check nuts for adjustabilty before the return window closes

Perfect fit and function, great buy
Great buy if you have a 30mm scope, the 1" inserts are kinda hit or miss, but you can get better inserts on ebay etc, overall this is a good buy, and It has held up to recoil on the ar15 platform just fine, I dont think I would trust it on a 308+ caliber, but for 223 and 22lr it works great, mounts up tight, and looks good. I recommend taking the phillips screws off the bottom of the mount along with all other hardware and loc-tite everything with blue loc-tite. Wrapping 1 layer of electrical tape around the 30mm-1" adapter rings while they are around the body of the scope and stretching the tape tight then inserting into the mount and tightening can help to keep the adapters inline and straight and from bulging.

I can't get this mount to hold the scope in place.
I have tried medium tight to very tight (on the ring screws) and locktite and the scope keeps twisting in the rings and moving forward. I bought 3 of these mounts hoping they would work and on two different rifles with 3 different scopes, I get the same results...the scope keeps twisting and moving forward.

Instructions sucked but the scope mount works great
Instructions sucked but the scope mount works great! Put it on my Sig Sauer Swat 16 Quad rail after mating it to a Bushnell AR-223 scope. After making some adjustments to the grip of the rail it locks down tight and can be removed and replaced with my Eotech and then back again with no adjustments. Getting soup can sized groups at 200 yards. Regardless of what you might have read the quick release are adjustable, if you need them tighter. Pull the screw out of the lever and make a turn or so on the allen heads then return the levers. Love the locks on the levers. It would be impossible to snag the levers and have the scope drop off!! I believe this to be a great product and will be buying another shortly! -DM

Great customer service decent mount.
You get what you pay for. No exception here.Mount feels solid out of the box, but the threads feel really harsh and weak. The quick release is hard to adjust just right, and hard to know when it is tight enough without pulling the threads clean out. After setting the scope up I realized the the scope is significantly out of alignment with the barrel.Update, co. Reached out to me and sent me out a new mount for free, and also refunded my money for the original mount. The second mount I received didn't have the issues the first one did, the threads on the qd bolts feel more solid and the mount feels much better. Top notch customer service, took the initiative to make it right as soon as they saw that I had an issue.
