These candles are GREAT! My wife wanted a real candle burning rather than those lights that look like a candle is burning that we already have. But we wanted a candle with natural ingredients and something that didn't smell flowery or soapy. (You know what I mean! LOL!) I got the Apple Harvest scent and they smell like somebody is baking in the kitchen and fills the whole house. We got them a few weeks ago for Chanukah and Christmas Time because we knew we would be having some company over and everybody that came in our house said how nice it smelled. They loved them and we love them. NOTE: Right on the package it says "Refills for Tight Fitting Votive Cups" so make sure you put these in tight cups that fit right around the circumference of the candle or else it will spread out and burn down too quickly. We're Jewish and it's traditional to burn a small candle on the anniversary of when a loved one dies. We get these candles at the supermarket. They're called Yarzeit (not sure about the spelling) candles (or just ask for religious candles) and the glass cups for these fit perfectly for Shortie's candles. After you burn the candle down in it (it's unscented) use the glass cup for Shortie's candles. You can then put the Yarzeit candle cup in a more decorative holder like we did. Check out my pictures. We love them and will be ordering more and experimenting with the different scents. And the frosting on the cake is they are made of good, healthy ingredients right here in the GREAT USA! I purchased these votives for a project, and frankly, I just needed candles of about these dimensions to fill a holder. I figured that the bakery scents would be just a nice bonus -- AFTER I ordered, I read some of the reviews which testified to the POWER of the scents in these candles. Make no mistake: I could smell these through the box, through the plastic bubble-wrap seal, and through the envelope they arrived in! Thankfully, it is a very pleasant, if POWERFUL smell (I ordered the Apple Cinnamon, which is very nice). I'm guessing that the perfume will decay over time, or at least my ability to detect it will -- wowzers! -- as I type this, it is THAT strong! But, nice. But, STRONG! Ohmigerd! It's open in my office, and I can already smell this 6-pack of votive candles down the hall! But, it's pleasant enough. Just make sure that you REALLY like the scent in question. Aah! It's like being waterboarded with Apple Cinnamon Quaker Oats! You know, but pleasant.

The seller was very sweet and helped me get a the required candle holder and sent me a replacement votive. But, I did purchase these candles to use in a votive holder I got as a gift so now I am still without candles for that. It is necessary to use a votive holder that is tight around the candle so it doesn't burn down and spill everywhere and be done with in 4 hours. Maybe all votives are like this? I never really cared to pay attention until now.Now the other issue seems to be the wick is off center and the candle is pooling on one side and not the other.They are strong scent and smell lovely! It really makes me want to love these candles for that reason!

The media could not be loaded.  I do not recommend these candles. The scent is nice but they burn out quickly due to tunneling. I tried to relight the candle but the flame is drowned in a few minutes by the tunneling, so the burn time in the description is false, try 15 mins and 2-3 minutes after relighting. Who wants to relight a candle every 2 minutes?? I thought, maybe this one is a fluke so I tried another but all of them do this. A complete waste of money in my opinion. 1 star for the smell. Thankfully, I have a wax burner so not a total loss.

I love candles and regularly burn them all throughout the year. When my favorite vanilla votives were discontinued, I bought these. They smell wonderful but they won't burn! I put one in a glass votive holder and lit it. Noticed half and hour later that it had gone out! I buy good candles and in all my decades of burning candles, this was a FIRST. I also noticed that it quickly ran out of one side.....not a good sign but the fact that wax was running out of the side of the candle into the holder so early makes it even more confusing that the wick went out since it didn't have any liquid, melted was surrounding the wick because it all was running out the side! Expensive for votives also but that would've been okay if they ACTUALLY WORKED PROPERLY!!! They don't.

mixed review... i love the smell of these candles . it is a light not perfumy scent. (they are the only candles my husband can tolerate)...except the wicks often burn out in less than one use (or in less rhan 30 minutes) and they are expensive. this is the second time i have purchased them -(thinking user error) - but it has happened both times. the wicks are very short

I ordered this and another scent. I don't know if it's the wick but the candles simply won't stay lit. I thought it might be a defect with one candle but the entire pack would not work. I had to throw them out. The butter pecan candles did not have an issue- burned and filled the entire house with a lovely scent. It must have been a bad batch but it was still a waste of money.

I love the fragrance of these candles. I've ordered two different fragrances and have been extremely pleased with both. The natural oils in the candles provide a wonderful relaxing fragrance without being overwhelming. Great quality candles for the price point. Because of their design they fit into all of my different candle holders which is extremely rare.

I love the scent; once it burns the smell is not as strong. I was having trouble keeping the candles lit though. Contacted the seller and the response was quick and thorough. Found out the votive holder I was using was too large. I'm very impressed with this seller and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.UPDATE: tried the candles with proper sized votive holder and would now give 5 stars. They burn very well and the glass holder fits within my old, bigger holder.
