A pulmonologist recommended that my mom get an inhaler spacer to make albuterol pump inhalation easier. This product is working exactly as I hoped. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and the included mask makes use even more convenient.The theory behind its use is that without it, pumping straight into the mouth can blast the entire spray onto the surface of your mouth. This makes it less likely that you inhale it all fully. With the spacer, each spray will be dispersed, and you can inhale it over multiple breaths. So far, my mom loves it. I'd certainly recommend it.

This spacer and mask are well constructed and seem very durable. I like that when I take my inhalers, I can actually tell that I am inhaling the medication properly, and it definitely improves its effectiveness. The quality is better than the spacer that my pulmonologist gave me, which is wearing out in less than 4 months.

I didn't think it would be as sturdy as it is. The face mask does smell like plastic - which is to be expected, I washed it, but its still there, I suppose its an oil that is still lingering. I will try washing it with dawn dish soap to get it all the way smell proof.
