At first it seems like this toy was well thought out, the feathers are on a Velcro attachment so you can rake the on and off to wash the toy or just use the ball part. The problem is, the feathers are only glued on to that piece and my cats had the feathers totally removed on day one - it looked like they killed a chicken in here, lol. But they did have fun so it was worth it, I just wish there was a better way to secure those feathers.

My cat didn’t like it at first because she was scared if the feathers but after a few days she is in love with it. When she smacks the ball it rolls and the feathers spin and she loves chasing it. It’s almost bird like. The ball is also like silicone and super durable. Good purchase.

The feathers do not stay attached for long. My kitten plays with it every day despite the loss of feathers😁. It's a great toy and the string seems to be fastened on pretty well. Both my cats love it very much and whip it all around the house. My kitten carries it all around from room to room. Ím buying more of them. Thank you for a super fun toy.

One kitty removed the feathers. The other kitty plays with the ball, he has a collection of 10 balls. Would not Order again pulled apart.

So the small round stand thingy was missing. I only got the stick with the feather. Sad but cats still like the feather thing so it’s fine.

My kittens loves these. I love how the feathers are Velcro. I thought at first they ruined it the first day but I realized they just Velcro right back together. Awesome

This is now the cat’s favorite toy to “hunt” and capture. Very entertaining!

Great for a day. They fall in love with the catnip and suck the ball to death. Then, the feathers disappear and you consider if they’ve been eaten or shredded and hidden somewhere. Eventually the ball is something you step on when walking and kick away by instinct.

I have 2 cats that FIGHT over this guy and they have NOT hurt him at all

First order one came with most of the feathers broken off. Luckily Amazon replaced right away. My Persian kitten goes wild for these things! Expect to find feathers everywhere, check daily to make sure no sharp middle pieces remain (should do that with all feather toys), and have fun! Kitten enjoys playing fetch with them especially if it becomes airborne, and the design makes them move unpredictably when swatted.Edit: I'm back for more 6 weeks later and kitty is still going strong with his addiction to these! I'm surprised the feathers have stayed in tact as well as they have. They are soft and seem to detach when needed instead of leaving a sharp stub in the toy. None have snapped off actually, only been pulled out over time.
