Good carb, but takes time to tune
I bought this for a built 50cc 2-Stroke engine. Nibbi makes a good solid carb, inside the chamber is polished, chrome plated, and looks nice. My only gripe is that it is a pain to get tuned. The needle has a different taper than my usual Keihn/Mikuni PE, but getting this thing dialed in just right took time and patience. Outside of that, it’s a great carb and has performed well. Worth the cheaper cost to have to fiddle with jets.

It doesn’t fit a klx110
Looks good and extra keys and all parts are. Nice but Allen key screws so big negative there

Nice piece of equipment
I restored an old dirt buggy with a 150cc engine and got tired of messing with the cheap vacuum-driven carb. Decided to put a "real" carb on it. Did some research and determined that I should use the smaller-sized carb. People seem to think a larger carb is always better, but I think a larger carb only helps with top end speed. Using a smaller carb will give more low-end power, which is what this buggy needed. So I went with the same size it came with - 24mm. I also bough the NIbbi intake manifold and filter. However, the intake opening on this carb is like 48mm and the filter is also 48mm (I think, could be off a little on either) which meant the filter did not fit on the carb. Nibbi didn't seem to make a filter that fits this carb exactly. Plus, there wasn't a lot of room behind the carb once I put it on. I had to run a piece of tubing from the carb intake around the frame and then mount the filter to the tube. Not sure if that impacts performance or not. This carb comes with a couple of different idle and main jets. Using the pre-installed jets, if I gunned the throttle the engine bogged to a stop. I let it do that and took the spark plug off after it died and the plug was wet so I put a smaller main jet in. It seemed to get slightly better but still dies when I gun it. I still need to do some tuning.Anyway, I am very impressed with the build quality of this carb. It's very well made. I think I'll get one for my scooter as well. I just don't trust the electric chokes and vacuum slides on the Chinese carbs. Would rather have a mechanical choke and a real slide.

Excellent quality construction, easy access tuning
Positives ~ The construction is on point. ~ Quality materials & clean machining of its parts.~ Relatively easy to install. Depends on the workspace (lots of room to work, or right quarters?).~ tuning - access to jets & adjustment screws are easy (positive) makes "tuning on the fly" easier.~ Great value for the money!Negatives ~ sometimes not all the correct parts are included - incorrectly sized intake boots, incorrectly sized o-rings in the throttle cap & fuel drain bowl - clogged or undrilled jets. This is really dependent on who originally put your package together at the factory...~ tuning necessity - sometimes it takes swapping different size jets to tune the carb to elevation, air temperature, fuel flow - but this is always dependent on engine size & compatibility! Sometimes this is the necessary evil of matching a carb to your motor. Some are lucky to "plug 'n play." Others are unlucky to have to spend hours rejetting & trial-and-error getting it to tune correctly.

Extra parts
You need to buy extra parts to get this carburetor to work, unlike the plug-and-play mikuni carburetor.
