Sharpens my Stihl chain fine when used properly
This works for me. I'm only an occasional chainsaw user cutting wood for my log burner and the odd wayward tree in our paddocks. The chains I use are the ones which cut less aggressively than the ones the professionals use and I find they blunt quite quickly. This does sharpen the chain cutter and the depth piece and I find my chainsaw works a lot better after sharpening with this device. It is a bit awkward working out which way to use this sharpener on both sides of the chain but once you get used to it, it is fine.

Looks the part
Looks very well made to be fair. Will it stand the test of time? Who cares? For the occasional user it's perfect and much more reasonably priced than the genuine Stihl option!

Economical Alternative To Branded Sharpeners.
I’ve been using the MULTIM chainsaw sharpener for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s been a surprisingly decent tool for the price. I originally picked it up as a cheaper alternative to the branded files, and while there is probably a little difference in material, the MULTIM still gets the job done. The plastic housing isn’t quite as refined as the branded version, but it’s sturdy enough, and nothing has flexed or cracked during use. What really matters is how it sharpens and honestly, it works well. The round and flat files were already in place, and the guides line up properly with the teeth. After a few runs down each cutter, the chain was noticeably sharper and cut a lot smoother. It’s not as quick as sending the chain out to a shop, but it saves a trip and gives you more control over how much material you're removing. The angle guides are helpful, and the motion feels natural once you get used to it. And Like me if you’ve never used a 2-in-1 style sharpener before, it might take a few tries to get the hang of keeping the pressure even. Still, I found it way easier than messing around with separate files and depth gauge tools. One thing to note is that the included files are decent, but they don’t seem like they’ll last as long as higher-quality ones. Luckily, they’re standard size, so replacing them isn’t a problem. Also, it’s a bit bulky in the hand, especially if you’re sharpening more than one chain in a session. The bottom line is, if you’re not using your chainsaw very regularly, and your after a budget-friendly sharpener that actually works and you don’t mind giving up a bit of fit and finish, this one’s worth trying. I wouldn't recommend it if you’re using it professionally or sharpening every week, but for occasional use, the MULTIM holds up better than expected. So just sharing my experience in case it helps someone else make a decision

Hand filing is better than this , a file costs 90cent or 1 pound , and does a better job as this does not sharpen the cullet on the chain only the top plate
