Worked Like a Charm
Easy peazy fix for my daughters 2011 CR-V. Most definitely would've been a 4 hour, triple digit fix at the local Honda dealership. Now she's back in business listening to her iTunes.

Decent replatement for my 2006 Civic
My factory plug began having issue with the contact between the socket and pins which isn't horribly surprising. The spring contact for the aux cord was the first thing to go, so it stopped switching from CD to Aux but I fixed that by soldering the associated pins inside the module. But then I start getting a ground-loop whine through the speakers (caused by the EMF from the ignition coils; you'd recognize it), and really poor audio.I tried just swapping out the boards inside these modules but the connectors on the back of the shell were loose. So I pulled some parts of my dash apart, removed the whole piece, swapped the entire part out with this one and it seems like I'm good to go for a bit.
