What Happened in the Garden?: The Reality and Ramifications of the Creation and Fall of Man

Purchased this book because I was familiar with the editor, Abner Chou, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in a Biblical view of Genesis 1-3. This book is written by faculty members of the Masters College and Seminary and the high standards and view of the Bible are quite evident. I appreciate how the importance of the Biblical text was explained from so many angles, historicity, theology, science, sociology and even law from experts in their own fields. For anyone interested in the Bible, I can not recommend this book enough, It unveils the foundation that Genesis presents so that everything that follows comes together like a puzzle and reveals something deeper and allows you to see the bigger picture. The reading level is very accessible even for someone who barely made it through high school a long time ago but not so simple that it won't challenge anyone who reads it. But most of all this book makes you think and is a great resource to have when your beliefs are challenged.

I most enjoyed the scientific chapters in spite of the fact that science wasn't my pursuit in school. Perhaps that is why I why I enjoyed those chapters. I learned so many things to support the Biblical creation account. I have been easily confused about scientific arguments in the past. I have previously studied the social sciences and felt I understood those and skimmed those chapters. I enjoyed the read and heartily recommend it.

I thought this book masterfully explained the reasons for the historicity of the Fall. I was impresssed by the great amount of research undertaken by each contributor. My faith was strengthened and it increased my understanding of why the world is what it is, the multitudinous ramifications of sin, and the only true help which is found in Jesus Christ the only perfectly righteous Man.

All in all I think this book is excellent, but it is a conglomeration of multiple authors, some of whom are definitely better than others

One the best reads I have read in a long time. It is a book of many papers from different points of view all assisting in the proof for an actual Genesis, through history and science.

Great book. Got this for school and if you need a book about creation and the arguments for creation this is a great read.
