Much better than charger that came with the car
Love it! Hyundai Sonata 2016 Plug in hybrid. 110v charger that came with the car takes about 8 hours for a full charge. This charger does it in 2.5 hrs. I wish they sold the plug in charger on Amazon. I had to install a dedicated line just for this.I gave 4 stars because APP needs improvements.1) Needs an option to wipe out the history.2) Incorrect Amps (17A) used shown, in reality it is 40A.3) Needs to show actual $$ consumed per charge. Currently showing 'EV driving savings'.4) Extremely difficult to sync the APP on more than 1 device. Nest, Ring and Kasa APPs are really good in this case. I installed the APP on my phone and had no issue getting it to work. Then I tried to install it on my tablet and tried to link the charger to no avail.

Lasted 3 years, then wifi module went out, tech support says buy a new one!
I purchased this when i bought my EV in May/2018 and installed it. Ran 12,804 kwH thru it before the wifi module went out. The company that made this got acquired by Enel x/JuiceNet -- so it might be AVEnvironment branded/Webastapo but its now a different brand that owns the IP/resonsibility. The embedded operating system seems to be ZentriOS. When i contacted the manufacturer about the device dropping offline, often interrupting charging and leaving me with a vehicle that didn't charge overnight they had me investigate the firmware level. After a few days they told me, its dead, buy a new one. And offered 10% off on a new product purchase. Seeing that the firmware on this product was last updated in 2019 (security undoubtedly not good in that software), and that when i did have a problem there was no offer or warranty replacement -- i'd not recommend this brand or its parent brands. The product was also subject of a capacitor recall that was confusing and got me worried early on in its life, only for me to follow the procedure and find out my product was not impacted. All around, this seems to have been a rush to market product that didn't last. I did enjoy the product's logging and control features thru the APP and the logging of kWH so i could see the car's energy impact over time charging my Chevy Bolt.I continue to limp along after the wifi/controller board failure but no longer have reliable time of use charging. Also the charge cord became lumpy from usage and was not suited to be wound up and stored from daily use. perhaps a braided cable in a fabric wrapper to protect the cable would have been better.I paid a significant amount of money for this, 10% off a product that has the same support and company ducking responsibility doesn't seem suitable.

Juice up your EV with this JuiceNet enabled AeroVironment L2 charger!
We are really enjoying the JuiceNet addition to the already impressive AeroVironment L2 charger! The AV charger itself is an impressive piece of well-constructed hardware, and the JuiceBox functionality is the icing on the cake. The AV EVSE charger with available 32 Amp (7.6kW) charging capacity will charge your electric vehicle via its L2 charging port through a very sturdy feeling SAE J1772 adapter quite nicely, and rather quickly if your vehicle supports it. The hardware installation was mostly painless. The JuiceNet WiFi interface took a few times (power cycling the breaker each time) to get it paired to our wireless network. We had to disable the MAC address filtering and enable SSID broadcast on the 2.4GHz side of our wireless router. Also, we don't think the manual's "10 minute window" to get the WiFi information entered and process completed is quite accurate -- it seemed more like 3 minutes. Considering my hubby is a network engineer for his day job, this was a bit unexpected, but not horrible. It is noteworthy the WiFi MAC Address for the JuiceNet wireless adapter is nowhere to be found easily, even though there are several stickers providing HW/SW version information. Once attached to the network, however, it was fantastic. The JuiceNet interface communicates to eMotorWerks servers in their Microsoft cloud over UDP port 8042 every few seconds, and talks to a variety of NTP servers. Additionally, it communicates with AWS periodically over HTTPS for something. As of June 2017, the web application interface leaves a little bit to be desired (still a work in progress and adding features) but is functional and includes gauges for current, kWh, temperature (Celsius) and line voltage. Conversely, the Android app seems to work really well (can't speak for the iApp, sorry). The "EV Charging" Alexa Skill by eMotorWerks is also pretty useful by offering status updates, charging specs and control functions, and seems to work well so far.Overall we are very impressed by the JuiceNet edition of the industry standard AV L2 EVSE charger, and would recommend it for any techno-geek who wants to stay on top of their PEV/PHEV's charging state and specifics.

Will change your life
I committed to EV. Then I spent 3 months sleeping in my EV in a grocery parking lot. I should have been committed! Then I ordered this charging station. Now I drive home, plug in, charge at 3am with the wireless pre-set controlled by my smart phone. I sleep in my chair at home now, not the drivers seat.

Wonderful product!!!!
Love this charger. Had it installed a couple of weeks ago and so far so good. Works wonderfully with my Mitsubishi PHEV. Was using the charger that came with the car for the past year but that is a very slow charger. This one works in about a couple of hours and fully charges up my car. Makes charging my hybrid a joy.

It was working fine until I installed the app and connected it to juicenet. Now it does not charge during the time it should and the Chevy bolt does not even recognize it’s plugged in. I have spent several days on the phone with electric motor works and they did a reset. Works ok now but they need to update some bugs.
