Alexei: Belles & Mobsters, Book Four

Ok I’m loving this series but this one triggered me🥹. I quickly skipped those parts and tried to move on, It didn’t work. I was sad and found myself antsy wondering when it would come up again not allowing me to really enjoy the book. I know I’m sensitive but I keep trying to read these types of books 🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️. I did enjoy their love and protectiveness of one another it was healing ❤️‍🩹. I want so bad to know what happened to “Kingston” but I’m sure I can’t handle it 🤦🏾‍♀️. I hope he gets a book 📖

I loved the story and characters, but the book had a whole lot of problems.First, a prologue is supposed to be a heads-up or overview of past events. Something leading up to the main story at some point in time in the past. This "prologue" was not, it was from halfway through the book. The first 40 to 50 percent of the book was the two weeks prior to the events in the prologue. And it was so boring and confusing because the Author info dumped an entire new family and siblings on us.Secondly, the FML character through the first half of the book, who was a special agent with the FBI, was not really likable and did not act like a strong FBI woman. It was really disappointing.Next, if this book had a professional editor, someone needs to get their money back. There were so many missing words, wrong words, switching from past to present tense, sentences that didn't make sense, and inaccuracies, it drove me crazy. Not to mention the plot problem near the end of the book where the FML is hanging out at someone's house she's met once in the book and was terrified of due to a spring break experience with the Santos father. Then, halfway through the book, when we finally catch up to the prologue, it's a direct repeat of the prologue from Alexis POV.I love Alexi's damaged pieces. It's a shame this book was rushed to be put out without edits.

Hands down my favorite of the series thus far, coming back to say that after finishing her recently released one - Luca. Alexei’s character is dark and moody, until he meets her. I will avoid going into TOO MUCH detail but.. this was my favorite moment from their story..“There is no better than you,” I told him, holding his gaze. “Not for me.” He took my one hand and interlocked our fingers. It started with my hand in his, and it will end with his hand in mine. “Then I’m yours,” he vowed.

This book broke my heart for the suffering Alexi wentthrough before he got his HEA. What a cruel world we live in.The woman are equals to the men in their lives, asbada$$ as their men. To read each Mafia man turn into marshmallow each time they have their womenby their sides.I enjoyed each book, although I have my favoriteNico and Bianca with their twins. But now, Alexi and Aurora have taken their place. For such a strong,broken man be so changed for love! Wow!I also enjoyed the comic relief from Sasha and thetwins hijinks!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ReviewThe entire Belles and Mobster’s series is absolutely fantastic. Eva Winners put her all into this masterful collection of mafia romances full of Strong and Fierce women and the Protective Alpha men that fall to their knees to worship and love them.Continuing this collection with Alexei and Aurora’s story was superb. Not only do we get their long awaited story but also a brief intro to the next series coming and their connection to the Kingpin’s. These two were just as fierce and phenomenal as every other couple we got to meet. Alexei comes from a much harder and darker past and background though and is closed off and cold. Until of course the FBI Agent Aurora comes along and shakes up his world. Fighting to find out what happened to her missing brother and the force behind his disappearance she’s left with no choice but to work with the cold and cruel man Alexei. A man she can’t help but want in every way possible. We get a look into their brutal pasts thru their memories and they will rip you apart but it’s a part of their story and what helps them get their retribution and HEA.This book will have your emotions all over the place, angry, sad, happy, frustrated, and a whole lot more. As with the previous books nothing but HEA for our perfectly matched couple. I can’t wait to see where she takes us with our other favorite Mobsters and their Belles. I absolutely highly recommend every single book in this series as a must read, along with any of Eva’s books. I still have several to read but I most definitely will be reading her past and future works after falling head over heals for the Belles and Mobsters Series!!

The story of Alexei tears the heart. It is intense to the point it is sometimes hard to turn the page. So worth the read though especially when it is so well written. The strength of the characters keeps you reading to continue till the end. Not for the faint hearted but rather for those who can still see love in a broken world with those who are able to survive it because of love.

Well Sasha was always my main man until I read Alexei…. His story is so heart breaking but reading his journey with Aurora was amazing. She helped him open up so much before he even realised. She was so kind and patient and I absolutely love them as a couple10/10 recommendation

The fourth book in the Belles and Mobsters series and even though I have loved every single book in this series I honestly believe that this author has excelled herself this time. I mean a tortured and broody tattooed anti- hero in Alexei and a strong, ballsy take charge heroine in Aurora, the fact that he’s a mobster and she’s a federal agent what’s not to love about this book! If there was ever a tale of opposites attracting this is it. With a fantastic plot full of twists, turns and suspense that will keep you absorbed while tugging in your heartstrings, this was just an amazing read for me. I am so glad I discovered Eva Winners books this year

Another amazing book in mobsters and belles series.Alexei is hot, tattooed and broody mobster that tries to break human trafficking circle.So when he decides to work side by side with FBI, he gets sassy agent Aurora.Aurora is beauty with brains and smart mouth. Only if she knew she met Alexei years ago.They both have same goal, they have their personal demons to battle, while having hot connection that sizzles with sparks.There might be things that can trigger some of you, so please check for your TW.

This was a really heart wrencher, the trauma, abuse and pain that These characters endured made.This storyline stronger and the damage it cause to a.family. This was an incredible journey for Alexei and Rora. There chemistry and passion was.explosive. This was filled with betryal, vengeance, violence, action, drama,suspense, passion,forgiveness and love. A captivating read.
