This thing is super cool! Seems like a handy way to get some shade on the head in the summer too. I love it on my fiance, might buy my own. The material looks a little different in person but I think it’s okay quality. My only complaint is the belts in front of the neck are very cheap.

Wore this to a Renaissance festival recently. Helped with the rain and sun, stayed up fairly well and I love the suede look! It doesn't look cheap like others I've seen. If something happened to it I would buy again.

This is perfect for cosplay, however if you get the larger one, and are not a muscled behemoth of a person you might need to add extra holes with a leather punch into the straps the go under your arms to get to to fit a little more closely. I got the larger one do to the width of my shoulders, but I'm not a body builder/athletic type so I had to add extra holes and shorten the straps to make it fit around my arms snuggly enough that it wouldn't fall off as soon as I undid the front straps and took the hood down. Aside from minor modifications, this has been perfect for my elven rogue cosplay that I put together for a L.A.R.P.

Fits amazing and looks good

I needed the cowl for an outfit I’m building. I thought it was going to be a darker brown. My corset is dark brown and you can see the difference of the tones. Is not leather at all and it’s not thick like the picture but it’ll do. I ordered a small by accident so I’m going to get a large and dye it to match my costume.

This is not the color of leather it’s really red. It is nice and soft suede though.
