I have used many different brands and versions of risers and I've never had as much trouble with any other type of PCI-E risers as I have with this batch. 4/12 or 33% failure rate with this 12-pack. 2 of the failures are such low quality they prevent boot-up and 2 other failures work for a few minutes under load before causing screen flickers, hangs and ultimately crashes. Two others were questionable but I was able to get them working if I found a tight enough PCI slot to use them in. They shaved too many pennies out of the manufacturing process in these units and quality control is just a person (or machine) putting stickers on the boards after MAYBE sticking a multimeter on them, if any testing happens at all. You have been warned.

80% of the risers failed.WORTHLESS!I thought it was my rig bulding/software issues that I was having, I purchased a big amount of graphics cards and other peripherals to build a few rigs, everything was full of errors, freezing, some worked, some didn't. I thought it was me, til I got on a forum and ready there's lots of bad quality risers out there.I spent the money on higher quality ones and the day was saved.Spend a little more and save yourself the anxiety and headaches...

All the riser I got where all faulty. This cause me a lot hours trouble shooting! I was thinking it was the MOBO or the OS but it was riser and switch them and my rig is working perfectly now.

I bougth two one work well but other does nortwork what can I do??? Help me please

Horrible!!! Problems with drivers I have to buy another pack more cheap and works fine this pack more expensive never works just to the trash

Out of the box, 2 of the risers didn't work. 3 weeks of 24/7 mining and 2 more went bad AND my sata power cable that powers these risers overloaded and melted the connection that attaches to the power supply!! I have no way of proving these risers caused the short, but the 6 other riser (sata to 4 pin power adapters) cards I have from another manufacturer are still working without an issue.I have since retired the 2 remaining risers to the trash.I've read that sata to molex power adapters are not the way to go for powering PCIe riser cards and now I can attest to this.
