Miracle worker...
Bought a used Jaguar in May 2019. Dealership did a good job of masking the cigarette smoke odor. A week later, the odor was quite prevalent. Went to the Jaguar dealership to see what they had to remove the odor. Aside from a ozone generator, they recommend Fogit, so I ordered it. This product worked miracles in removing the odor from my car. Be sure to use outdoors, and really know how your car’s air recirculation system works; by default mine turns off after 10 minutes. I didn’t know that and had to open the door during the process which reduced the effectiveness. Also be aware that wherever you use this product, it will smell like a chlorinated pool for a week or two, but is tolerable is your not overly sensitive.

Completely eliminated cigarette smoke odor
The product performed exactly as stated. It was easy to setup and activate. I ran the engine with heater on high with fan on high in recirculating. I looked in the window to see it making small bubbles slowly growing and popping to release the chlorine dioxide gas. After an hour I opened all doors to let it air out. The vehicle interior previously smelled of cigarette smoke. Now it has absolutely no trace of any odor and smells fresh and clean.

Didn't work
Did not get rid of the gas smell in my car. Ugh. My husband spilled gasoline in trunk of my car and I have scrubbed and then tried the fogit. At first I thought it worked, but by the next day the smell was back

completely removed stench of spilled gasoline :-)
The spout of a gas can wasn't screwed on completely, and it tipped over and leaked in my trunk. I threw out the fabric liner, but the car's whole interior still reeked of gas a week later, even after I tried to air it out. I bought FogIt for $30 in the Parts department of my local auto dealer (call around), used it as directed, and the gas smell was gone! The car smelled like chlorine for a day or so, but soon even that went away, and now even my wife and daughter are happy to drive it again. I think FogIt creates reactive chlorine dioxide gas that attacks odor molecules anywhere in the car; I tilted the rear seatbacks forward and even use blocks to raise the wooden panel covering the spare tire, so the FogIt gas would get into all that space too.One caveat: the liquid that remains in the tin afterward smells NASTY when you pour it down a drain. Use your laundry tub, do everything you can to control the odor, and have a LARGE bucket of water handy to rinse it out and chase it down with. You don't want to stink up your kitchen for hours like I did. :-)
