I have thin and dry hair that has a history of bleaching and dying. This bonnet's material is extremely thin like cheap 'satin' sheets, almost see-through. It wasn't that nice shiny satin you see in the picture. It also had a very strong chemical smell. The band was a bit tight and I've never had to buy head gear to accommodate a bigger head. The band wasn't too wide, about an inch. I have a bob so the amount of material was just right with smashing my hair down or being baggy which is a shame because that was one of the things I was looking for. This was a mostly disappointment.

I bought this product to use under my CPAP elastic bands to prevent my hair from breaking off around that area where the straps rubbed during the night. The shower caps are too hot but this is perfect! So far it seems to be protecting my hair from splitting off and allowing it to grow back.

Runs a z little small, comfy but if you have alot if hair may need larger, but I 'ike mine snug after first wash day.

Good for night time, but not big head friendly. Does not stretch much.
