SASSYBAX Convertible Leggings

I like to think of myself as pretty knowledgeable about leggings as that is all that have been wearing outside of work clothes for 3 years. I am always on the search for new leggings to out due old ones that no longer are being sold or just aren't doing it for me anymore. So here is my take on these.PROS: opaque and not shiny, high waisted to slim the tummy area, fabric is nice and doesn't look like they will fade due to the compositeCONS: these are more like cigarette pants on the bottom so I found the ankles wide and baggy (i did buy a size up tho since it is shapewear which may be why they were baggy); since its shapewear there is a line across the tummy/hip area to set off the control top which I didn't like because I wear short shirts with leggings; not good for cold weather as I feel like they were less warm than other leggings outside; they aren't anything extraordinary as I was hoping given the price-can get similar ones for cheaperSIZING: By your normal size. I am 5 foot, 5 inches and 135 lbs (measurements are 34D,26,38). I am usually a Medium in pants but I bought a large since I know shape wear is really tight and can be a struggle to get on. I wish I got a Medium because the control top is a bit baggier on my waist in a large and the ankles as noted are bigger. I would rather struggle a bit more to get them on in order to have a tighter fit in those areas.

I read all of the reviews before purchasing these. I'm not sure why so many petite gals who say they wear a 6 would buy these in large. Maybe they don't under stand compression. I'm 5'3 about 135 lbs. and generally wear a 6 or 8 in pants. I bought these in medium and if I had to do it again would buy a small. The compression really, really gives and there is lots of extra length. These are closer to a footless tight and I wear then with a pair of thin leggings over the top. Really gives a polished look.

Wearing as pants as well as a to keep warm. The fabric is thick but does not feel bulky. I would not call it shiny at all moor like an opaque tight? if that. I am 5'2' and 125 and bought a medium. They feel tight but not hard to put on at all. When I first opened the box I thought there is no way these will fit, but they do! Beautifully! I do not need shape wear per say but love the compression I get from the pant. Am ordering a large just to see how this fits.

I love the fit of these leggings, they help with that little belly that appears at holiday time. They also show off the shape of your legs, but most of all they are very comfortable, not too tight.

I am far from tall (only 5'6"), but all leggings seem to ride well above the ankle. These fit just as the picture displays - below the ankle.

This is the second pair of sassybax that I have purchased and they are wonderful. Best leggings I own.

These are OK, but for the price they are overrated. They are kind of like wearing spanks for pants! I would NEVER wear these without a LONG tunic dress top for sure. They were expensive for what they are, I could've bought cheap leggings at Walmart - actually the Walmart black jeggings I bought for about 12.00 are nicer, thicker and held up better than these, serve the same look, with a tunic top.

These are the only pants I wear. They wash like new and keep their shape. They never fade, either. I will buy these again and again.
