I had been looking for washable oval placemats for a vintage kitchen table but it seemed that only huge, rectangular or round ones were available. These vinyl mats are easily cleaned, more heavy duty [yet flexible] than most, with a discrete linen pattern. They also protect the wood surface of my table from hot dishes. I'm very pleased with the appearance and quality. [Bonus: this product is made in America, too!]

I like these placemats. They look good on my table. They are easy to clean after spills. The weight and texture imply they're durable and will last a long time. I have not tested their ability to withstand heat.

Loved the mats. They are heavy and well -made. Unfortunately, the color wasn’t right for my patio table.

These looked good and seemed like a great solution for having grandkids over for dinner. Because some folks reported problems, I was careful not to put anything really hot on them and was cautious cleaning them, wiping with a damp rag and then drying. In spite of being careful, 3 of the 8 that I bought have now delaminated to the extent that I had to throw them away. They started with minor bubbling at the edge and spread to major bubbles across the whole mat. Another is showing signs of going. If you want something to use a couple times, these are probably fine. If you are looking for something that will last more than a few months, keep looking.

Good size, nice color, but the surface decal begins to bubble up on some of them. Thought they'd be better quality for the price, but I'll try a different product next time.

Love these placemats. They are a beautiful color,(got the medium mocha.) they don’t slide around, and are easily wiped clean with a wet dish cloth. 5 stars!
