Clarity of glass
I have always used Hoya for UV filters for my camera lensesI have bought this one for a new Canon super zoom for my camera for birding photography and I am delighted with the results.For me a good buy at a reasonable price

Always had Hoya filters to protect my expensive lenses and they are of exceptional quality. Highly recommended.

Very poor glassware
I have protective filters on all my lenses but this one really showed why cheaper ones are not such a good idea.I almost sent back a perfectly good lens as all my photos with it were out of focus in some way. It's awful!

Is this a Real Hoya?
Always used Hoya in the past as they are excellent filters.This filter was fitted to a Canon 100-500Rf lens.Images were soft in focus and in some cases had a double background.Removed the filter and the images were back to being tack sharp.
