Good stuff
Used this to re-grease my early-80s KitchenAid stand mixer. The original grease was in terrible shape, and it stank like the used oil barrel in the back of an auto parts store. Half of it had turned to the consistency of thin motor oil, and the other half was thick as jello. There was one area where the grease had literally dried solid, which I didn't even think was possible. This stuff is clear and odorless. You can easily smear it around and get it where it'll do the most good, but it's still thick enough that you can put big globs everywhere without worrying about them falling off while you put everything back together.Meanwhile, my mixer, which had been struggling so badly I was certain I would going to find missing teeth, cracked gears, or both, now runs smooth as silk and quiet as a kitten's purr. Literally good as new.By the way, whatever machine you put this grease in, you will want to run it under moderate or light load at low speed for a few minutes. That will get a good even layer of grease on all the moving parts before you work the machine too hard. You need some load, though. In my case, banana bread worked great.

Grease is Not Grease
One reviewer said grease is grease even though it smelled really bad. Well, that is not true. Most of the grease that is on Amazon is not "rated" food grade. If it does not say NSF-H1 don't buy it. The grease is rated NSF-H1, H2, and H3. Some contaminants can be found in H2 and more in H3. If it is not rated at all, god knows whats in it, and I don't want that in my cookies. This grease was clear with no smell. I am a 70 year old woman and I watched a Youtube woman take her Kitchen Aid apart and put it back together again. I kept my computer on the counter and did it one step at a time. Complete success. I used a small spatula to apply the grease. I used 3/4 of this tube, plenty for the job. I hope this review helps you purchase the right stuff. Good Luck

Good buy for the kitchenaid
I fixed my mom kitchenaid and decided to regrease her 15 year kitchenaid. Like many other i read so much reviews of so much greases out there and finaly decided to buy this one and it was a good choice. Its has the stickiness and its made by a big company and for the most important factor- couple of months later my mom's kitchenaid is working quiter and stays cool. So this grease works great5/5

Mixer like new
I bought this to relube my 20 year old kitchen aid mixer. The mixer was starting to sound a little like the years were grinding. I watched a couple of YouTube videos but none were exactly like my mixer. Still, I was able to get enough info to take the mixer apart and scrape out all the old grease and put it all back together. Wow! Was that old grease dirty. Now, the mixer runs just like it was new. It took about an hour. I also had enough grease leftover to fix my wife's mixer. I wish I would have bought another gasket.

Great product. Much bigger than it looks. Word of caution though.
Bought this to grease o-rings on a commercial espresso machine mushroom tube. This should be enough to last me 40 years if I service the machine once a week!CRC products are fantastic quality. Highly recommend.Word of caution: The tube has a plastic lid (cap) on one end, and a tear off aluminum end on the other. If you are like me and will only use a little bit at a time, removed the black cap only. Do not rip off the aluminum end.I guess the aluminum tear off tab is so you can use it in some dispenser of some kind.

Unsure about this stuff.
I gave a rating of 3 because IMO this stuff is not as good as non-synthetic for the following reason. I've worked on a lot of equipment that requires grease and one thing I can say for sure is that good quality grease sticks to everything whether it's your tools, workbench, hands, or anything else and it does not wipe off easily. Always wants to leave some annoying residue behind. But that characteristic is just what you want for your machine's moving parts. The first thing I noticed about this synthetic is a sort of gel consistency and it did not stick to the gears the way I hoped it would. It seems to wipe off everything very easily. Not a good trait for any lubricant. Now, my assessment could be completely wrong. This stuff might be OK but for my own peace of mind I'm going back to non-synthetic

KitchenAid Friendly
This is what you need to revive that old KitchenAid mixer. The old broken down grease is running out or seeping through every orface on the machine. It's pretty used up dark and nasty when you pull it apart to clean it. Get the old out the best you can and replace with approximately the same and you are good to go. One tube is more than enough. It's been a couple months now and it's great not to have any leaks! Grease free cookies! Yum!

Plenty in the tube
Worked great. Did 2 stand mixers with plenty left over and I really slathered it on. Not as thick as axel grease but plenty thick enough to stay where it is put. Surprised me that it was clear like aloe gel. I may open them back up in a year or so and see how the grease is doing.
