These things work great. My application was very low pressure, but they plugged the hole and worked great. I loved that they had several sizes in the kit, as I was plugging a metric hole and what I would have originally ordered probably wouldn't have fit. But, I was able to take a smaller one and crank it a bit more and it worked perfectly. I'd definitely buy these again if I needed them for an application. P.S. I also bought a hollow 5/16" (8mm) bolt and used this to plug a big hole (30mm) but still have a small (3mm) drain. They worked great for this project too!

Engine head core plugs (aka freeze plugs) rusted out and is tight against the firewall with no room to work. Saved a lot by not having to pull the head. Got a couple extra for just in case the other head has issues.

Needed plugs for my d4300 yanmar tried a few with no luck , found these and so far so good 40hr plus later.

You can't really tighten them, they just spin in the hole. There isn't enough room for a jam nut so I ended up welding a nut to the end

I have a 1.25 ID aluminum pipe I needed to plug. I ordered a set with tapers expecting them to start just under that. The small end turned out to be 1 3/8". I was not happy. I ordered these and the one I used fit slightly loose but with the nut, I was able to compress it for a very tight fit that could not be budged.

The plugs are good quality and sealed up great
