IF you ship things - with ANY shipping service up to and including private couriers - it’s going to get bumped around, likely tossed around and certainly jostled. But what are you to do, deliver every package, letter and item you want to send yourself by hand? That’s not practical. So you package up things as best you can - and these protective mailers are a GREAT way to do that for smaller items!Ideally with packaging and mailers, you want protection for what you’re shipping without adding much in the way of bulk or weight (since you pay for shipping by weight and volume of the item that you’re sending). This is why large retailers (like the site you’re on at this moment) use air based protection in their boxes and more and more use envelopes to mail vs bulkier boxes. These mailers use the same idea, with bubble wrap leveraging air to create a cushion and the ability to fold the envelope over to create something of a “custom” fit/multiple layer protection for smaller items (which may require some packing tape depending on the size/shape of your item, but is well worth it for the savings on shipping). The poly outside also creates a water-resistant barrier if your item happens to traverse a rain storm in its travels or if it’s delivered on a day with bad weather and has to sit outside for a while. The envelopes seem to find a good balance between being durable enough to protect and survive even a longer shipment without going overboard and adding to the cost/weight. For fragile items (ones that would benefit from more rigid protection - i.e., things that can’t be bent at all) you can use these envelopes as part of a “layered” type protection by either putting the item in the envelope and then in a box OR if the item is small enough, in a small box that then goes inside the envelope to add water-resistance to the box.So useful mailers that provide good protection without adding too much bulk or weight (and hence without adding too much cost to your shipping) and can be used in a variety of scenarios? That’s a win in my book. And all that for a VERY reasonable cost? Well, if you ship anything that might fit in these, I’d recommend you pick them up today!

There isn't anything too exciting about these bubble mailers but they have plenty of cushion and they seem like they will hold up well. I haven't sent one thru the mail yet but I will try to remember to come back and update my review when I do.

Works great! I am very satisfied with this purchase. Everything is exactly as it was described. Good user manual. It was easy to setup and easy to use. My expectations were met I think its a good value for the money and I would recommend this to others.
