An excellent vocabulary building block
Covering sixty words that children have difficulty with both understanding and pronouncing correctly (and to be fair some adults I know too) this is an excellent although short book that will help to build those knowledge blocks and improve and understand words far more than simply seeing them in books does usually. From words that we as adults take to be easy to understand and use daily such as flaw to those we use a little less commonly like pernicious this is a great lesson plan to teach in an easy and cohesive way and should be in all lesson plans and home schooling plans and this is the 2020 version of the book so it is very relevant for now and a fair few tomorrows.

Valuable home schooling companion
This book is a great insight into teaching your child in KS3 English.I like it looks at 60 words with structured lessons on it. This really helps understand what a teacher will do to structure a lesson. This book is valuable in helping your child with building brilliant vocabulary. It does what it says on the tin. Great for home schooling.
