It was just what I wanted. A light dusting of sparkle along the sides of the tile. The silver shows up best on the dark grout. You don’t really consciously notice it but it reflex the light!

Really goes well with my iridescent tile!

Great bed just the right amount of sparkle to complement the mirror edge.

Do not mix into premixed grout you will have to thin the mix.

We wanted our grout not to be flat and we’re looking at urethane because it comes shimmery or with a glitter but read such bad reviews then we realized we could make our own with this product and regular grout. Perfect results!!!!!

I am on a short renovation timeline and I ordered 3 glitter grout color options when my initial design choice had fatal flaws regarding symmetry. I ordered this white, pearlescent and plain silver (I will review all 3). Honestly, I didn't even open the package to test this white color because through the package screen I could see that this would not provide the glimmer and shine I was looking for. I initially selected this because I thought it would be the most subtle and classy glimmer in bright white grout (as "classy" as glitter in grout can be... lol!), but the truth is -> it just looked like flecks of plastic.Pearlescent I opened and tried in a tile/grout sample, but that also blended too well into the white grout to be noticeable. The winner was standard silver which I initially thought could make the grout look grey, but instead provides the perfect amount of reflection and shine. When the project is done, I'll try to add photos, but since I didn't open this, I have no photos of this color to post.I can't think of a project this color would be good for... I would hard pass. I wanted to add a little 'pop' in a huge new shower we were doing in our master bathroom renovation. I did a lot of research, and the only commercial glitter grout I could find (TEC FX) did not get good ratings or reviews for wet environments. I decided to give this additive a try. First, I did a little test sample, mixing it with my DeLorean Gray TEC grout and grouting a small piece of mosaic tile (used 1" marble hexagon mosaic). Loved how the sample looked, so used it in the EXACT proportion suggested by the package. We used it to grout the tile along the back of a 5' niche in our shower and it looks AWESOME! Not too crazy, but just enough sparkle in what would otherwise be a very big, dark gray wall. Even my husband likes it, and he is not a glitter fan. My tile installer says he's going to recommend it to other customers! HIGHLY RECOMMEND - BUT FOLLOW THE PACKAGE DIRECTIONS, MIX THE GLITTER WITH THE DRY GROUT AND DON'T BE SCARED BY HOW SPARKLY IT LOOKS!!!

Wunderschöner Effekt im Fugenmörtel. Dezent, nicht zu aufdringlich und doch ein Blickfang

Preis/Leistung finde ich aufgrund der Ergiebigkeit fragwürdig.Das Glitzer wurde für ca. 0,8qm Mosaikfließen gekauft.Zu erwähnen ist, dass es sich bei dieser Fläche wirklich um nicht viele und große Fugen handelte.Um einen sichtbaren Glitzer-Effekt zu erreichen, müsste selbst für meine kleine Fläche bestimmt 5-6 Beutel bestellt werden.Das ist dann schon eine Preisfrage!Gibt man das Glitzer in den Fugenmörtel, geht dieser in der Maße völlig unter.Um wenigstens einen kleinen Glitzereffekt zu erreichen, habe ich nach der Verfugung Glitzer über die Fugen verteilt. Das erweist sich aber problematisch, da die Haftung nur sehr begrenzt ist und der größte Teil sich gar nicht mit der Masse verbindet.Fazit :Um eine Fläche von 1qm Mosaikfliesen zu verfugen, sind für den gewünschten Glitzereffekt mindestens 7 Beutel in den Mörtel zu geben.Also ca. 70 Euro Verbrauch pro Quadratmeter Fliesen-Verfugung. Also eine sehr kostspielige Angelegenheit.

Ich habe einen kupfer- oder bronzefarbenen Fugenmörtel gesucht und nicht gefunden. Mit den Pigmenten konnte ich einen mittelbraunen Mörtel so aufhübschen, dass es richtig gut aussieht.Das Zeug lässt sich gut verarbeiten. Ich würde nur jedem empfehlen, eine Probemischung mit etwas Mörtel anzufertigen, um den Effekt vorab zu prüfen. Die angegebenen 100 g Glitter für ein Kilogramm Mörtel sind für helle Fugenfarben sicherlich zu viel. Ich habe deutlich weniger benötigt und meine Fugen sind eher dunkel.Das Material setzt sich allerdings beim Anrühren aufgrund der geringen Dichte leicht oben ab, man sollte daher vor der Verwendung noch einmal gut durchrühren. Der Glitter findet sich so im gesamten Mörtel und nicht nur auf der Oberfläche.

Der Glitzerzusatz war leider überhaupt nicht das was wir erwartet haben.Wir haben den Zusatz bei Glasbausteinen verwendet.Die Glasbausteine müssen nach dem ausfugen sauber (klar)gewaschen werden,das ist ja so üblich.Dabei ging der ganze Glitzerzusatz wieder aus den Fugen heraus und schwamm im Reinigungswasser.Das war nicht das,was wir wollten.In den Fugen ist leider kaum noch etwas davon zu sehen.Von uns - leider keine Kaufempfehlung.
