Fantastic! Saved our camper shower experience.
Fantastic shower head for the camper! We bought a new fifth wheel over the 2018 summer and the shower was just not working well for us at all. Our previous trailer could get about 6 to 8 minutes out of the hot water tank which was good enough for us to be happy with it but the new trailer hot water would last about 4 minutes at best. I was pretty disappointed since I just assumed the new fancy trailer would have even better use of hot water than our old trailer. I decided something had to be done and began trying to figure out why it was so bad. I immediately found that the shower head needed a lot of pressure to get a stream of water out of it that was good enough to shower in. Basically we were turning the hot and cold tap almost completely on to get the shower head pressure good enough. I checked a few things out on the camper and our pressure regulater but determined that it had to be the shower head that came with our new camper. I began a search for a replacement head that could make our hot water last longer by using less pressure. We had just spent all our money on this camper so I needed the new head to be cheap too but also made well enough to last a little while. I searched the web for a month and looked at all the suggested heads and finally bumped into this PIH head in one article. I decided at this price I could try it without too much fear of failure so I ordered it. So glad I did! The box comes with a hose, hose wall clamp, adjustable wall mount and the shower head. The color of the PIH head we were shipped matches the off white/almond color of our camper shower pretty well. I just screwed the new head to our existing shower hose and called it done for now. I may mount the second wall mount a little higher in the shower so there are more options for aiming the head but it works fine with the standard mount that most campers I've seen have installed originally. The first time we turned it on I knew our showers would be improved. I turned on the faucet with lower pressure than we've ever used before, pulled the shower pin up and the water stream hit the opposite side of our 40 inch shower sending water bouncing all over the bathroom. The old shower head barely hit the center of the shower at full pressure. I cleaned up the bathroom and adjusted the pressure down, way down, and got in. I left a little lower than normal amount of pressure but still enough to wash my hair and spray out of the head even holding the head where the water would shoot straight up. I went ahead and washed off pretty fast, still expecting the worst, and then waited for the hot water to run out... I ended up taking a 13 minute hot shower in a camper that before had only lasted 4 minutes. Amazing difference for us, saved the shower experience in our new camper. There is a pause setting and 2 settings for water streams. The best water setting in my opinion is the one that uses the center larger holes of the head. This setting just slightly pulses while it sprays and the water streams are pretty thick which keeps the water feel hotter after it leaves the head. The pulsing isn't a massage really at all, it's such a light pulse you barely notice it. The second setting uses the multiple tiny holes around the exterior of the head and produces much smaller pin sized streams of water. The multiple tiny streams cool faster coming from the head and feel like they have less pressure to me but I'm sure there are people who will like this setting more, its just not for me. The setting all the way to the right is pause and shuts off the water completely. Some heads dribble a bit on pause to help not build up cold or hot water in the line but this one does not, it completely shuts off the flow. We really don't ever use the pause feature on any of our heads so I can't say if the dribble or complete shut off is better, I'm just letting you know what this one does. It seems to be made as well as my original head was although I can't say much about long term use, we've only used it for about 20 showers so far. I believe it's made well enough to last a while if taken care of. I did bring it in my house and try it there too. I screwed this head to my existing house shower hose and got the stream where it was comfortable to shower in. I then unscrewed this head from the hose without changing the faucet setting at all and screwed my old house shower head back on... it just drooled out of my old head, no pressure at all. I screwed the PIH head back on and had a comfortable stream of water to shower in. It really does lower water usage more than any head I've ever used by giving a comfortable shower experience with much lower water pressure. In the end my whole family is very happy with this head and I plan to order another if ever needed. If you're looking for more pressure and/or an elongated hot water run time for your camper or even your house I suggest you give this shower head a try.Update: Just returned from a 2 week 4000 mile vacation with our camper. We used this shower head for 50+ showers during the trip and have not had any trouble at all. It still works great, like the day we bought it. It helped provide 10 to 15 minute hot showers for each of us in our camper the whole time we were out. We remain very happy with this purchase.

If i could give 6 stars I would.
Massive improvement over the shower head that came with my rv.Until I installed this one, I thought it was a water pressure issue. Definitely no more water pressure issues. For the money, it's a BUY.I noticed a comment about saving the washers from your old hose, but mine came with 4 washers.

Great pressure!
My husband just replaced the shower head in our camper and after using this new shower head once we can't figure out why we didn't replace the old one years ago!

Great RV shower upgrade
This has multiple settings and is much nicer than the stock shower head. Works great on city water but still works ok on pump pressure.

GREAT BUT *RVers BEWARE of an easy mistake!
The media could not be loaded. The shower-head works great! I have thick gorgeous hair down to the small of my back and the previous shower-head ran so slow I ran out of hot water before I ever get the shampoo out! This is an awesome replacement to my really slow flowing previous RV shower-head and now I actually get enough pressure to rinse the shampoo and conditioner from my really long hair and I don’t blow through the hot water as fast.Keep the washers from your other shower-head because this one does not come with washers and where you connect the hose on each end will leak without the washers! I gave it four stars because I had to go by the washers. So easy to install with no tools! The pressure on PIH Shower-Head works great! There are three settings on the shower-head; Off, high-pressure massage spray, and let’s say rain shower.*Here’s where RVers have to be aware!I took my shower and like I’ve done a few times I left the shower positioned in the off position on the shower-head but the hot and cold were still on. Stupid, I know! I’m always rushing! I didn’t check it and I assumed I had turned the faucets off. I went out to meet my son and while I was out the city shut off the water for repairs. The water pressure went down and the nozzle you lift up to force your water from the bath to go up to the shower-head dropped when the water pressure dropped, which then made the water run into the tub. That’s fine if you have a city sewer line!!I have an RV and my 40 gallon tank filled with water, then the tub filled, then it overflowed into the bathroom, and started creeping out of the bathroom into one of the floor vents of the RV!There is an overflow on the tank but not when you have water running for seven hours!Yes, I technically destroy the RV and most people would call the insurance company and just have it totaled. I took towels and cleaned all the water from the vents and the floor. My husband went underneath the RV, took off the CoroPlast sheet, sliced through the Darko in EACH & EVERY section of the trailer, removed ALL the fiberglass insulation from underneath, and we’ve been drying it with fans and heaters for the past seven days!We have re-checked and re-checked and there’s nothing wet under there at all! Hooray! We had to buy new CoroPlast sheet tape, new insulation, and it will cost about $100 to repair our 2020 Keystone Springdale Arctic RV!~I learned a great lesson and we know where everything is on our RV and how to access it now too!*So, never leave the hot and/or cold water on and the showerhead in the off position!!*If there’s a drop in water pressure the knob will drop on the faucet and the water will run and run and run even if the shower head is off!*Anyway, back to the review of the shower-head, buy it, you won’t be disappointed! Watch the video of the spray. (It also has that X plastic regulator piece (see pic) in the hose to slow down the water and if you wanted even more water and pressure you could remove that little plastic piece ‘like we do at home’ BUT you would blow through the hot water in your small RV hot water tank!)) We are going to add instant hot water to the trailer.Happy Trails!

Works amazing
The shower head that came with our brand new RV was a joke. Just a dribble of water. We love this shower head. High pressure. Just like at home.

Wish I had bought this first…
…but no. I wanted something pretty. After a couple of failures, I came back to the basics and I am happy. This really does exactly what it is built for. And it’s light and easy to use in every way.

Saves water and prolongs your hot water for an even longer shower.
Easy to replace your older head. Easy to use the new one.
