Good but could be sturdier
I had to replace my previous sprinkler because it broke at the point where you connect the hose. Over time the plastic had become brittle. It would be good if that area could be reinforced. Having said that, it’s a very efficient sprinkler for my small lawns.

Working well despise low pressure
I used and installed this sprinkler in my garden despite a low pressure it's working way better than others. Reaching about 250 sqm of coverage its by far the best i got. I have been tried a few systems from amazon for me it was the best but unlike others you can't quite move it around as you need to plant in the soil.I put only 4 stars for the lack of flexibility and setting it up takes a bit more time than others. Still easy just longer.

It’s a good product but…
…it does need a good lot of pressure to work very well as intended so use out of busy times when neighbours are using their water at home a lot.Must to get the best use out of it.

Excellent once the stopped revolving problem was solved
UPDATEI had updated my five star review to one star as the sprinkler stopped revolving after just over a year making it somewhat useless but I then discovered hidden among the one star reviews is a suggestion from Hozelock to a disgruntled customer with the same rotation problem of trying WD40. It didn't work for him but, with nothing to lose, I gave it a whirl.I sprayed down the nozzles and the gaps around all the revolving parts and sprayed into the hose inlet, then held the unit upside down and sprayed into the inlet again until WD40 started to drip out then tried connecting a hose again. Problem solved and it now works perfectly again. I have no idea if that is the best way to lubricate but it worked for me and may solve the problem for some other customers with units that are no longer revolving. Perhaps Hozelock should mention a possible solution to the revolve problem in their marketing which I am sure would avoid a fair number of complaints looking at the one star reviews!I have two units so will be spraying the second one, which is working all right, just as a precaution. So, with the proviso you might have to use WD40, or equivalent from time to time, the original review stands.A YEAR AGO . . . . I have used a Gardena pulse sprinkler with no problems for many years to water fruit and veg at the bottom of the garden usually around 10.30pm when pressure is somewhere near normal again after most people have finished their evening watering and sprinkling. But new houses have been built just beyond our boundary and pulse sprinklers by their very nature are quite noisy, especially in the stillness of night, so out of consideration to new neighbours I tried this pro sprinkler and have been impressed.I am not sure it manages the coverage it claims, at least not on my water pressure, which, admittedly is reduced by the distance from the mains supply to the bottom of the garden, but it does carry a decent distance, about six to seven metre radius, and the jets are more upright rather than the flatter throw of a pulse sprinkler so the water falls closer to the vertical which can help if any pots or plants are in a rain shadow. The range, obviously, depends upon pressure at the time, but, late at night it is not far short of the pulse jet it has replaced, doing the same job but in silence. The excellent Gardena will still have its uses but for automatic late night watering the Hozelock model does much the same job and is less likely to annoy neighbours who are far close to the sound than we are.

The best
This sprinkler is the longest lasting sprinkler I’ve had.

Good sprinkler but with 1 flaw
So it is early days with this sprinkler but what I do like is that it is far easier to adjust to water those awkward areas than most others, particularly the rectangular bar sprinklers, and with decent water pressure it does cover a reasonable distance, but there is a flaw. The flaw is getting it into the ground. If the lawn is nice and soft it goes in really easily, but typically people water their lawns when there hasn't been any rainfall for a long period and the soil is hard. To get it in you naturally push down on the plastic top half and where the hose connects, which is also plastic, so I can see this breaking quite easily. On my 1st water I couldn't push it all the way in without fear of breaking so only went half way down the spike. I let it run for 30 minutes to discover that as the ground softened the sprinkler had fallen backwards so instead of watering my lawn it was watering my patio, table & chairs and my windows along with £1k worth of wood for my decking project I had kept dry! Quickly fixed now that the ground was soft. So my recommendation is to wet the area you are going to place the sprinkler 1st to make sure you can sink the spike in nice and deep.Loses 1 star as it should have something to ease pushing it in the ground and loses 2 stars for VFM as I can see this breaking within a few months.
