They work well enough but its a bit hard to make the connections on the motors. I bought them for a school project. I wasn't able to get them to work the way that I intended but I think that was my fault and not a motor issue.

First of all, I did not have any problems with overheating. Following the instructions seems to fix the major reported problems. The brackets are well thought out and easy to use and the switches work fine. However these motors run at 24,000 RPM which is way too fast for what I needed. EUDAX says " there is no problem in 5 minutes, maybe it can run even longer, but is not recommended" also limits what I can do as five minutes is not long enough for my projects. One reviewer mentioned running one for four hours and I can only wonder what sort of load they had on the motor. Finally some of the wires have already come off the motors and will require re-soldering. I can think of other projects where this may work, so my review is mixed, just be sure what your project needs before buying..

I am very happy with this package, which includes 5 motors, 5 AAA battery holders, 5 motor mounts, and 5 switches. The little extras make it easy to put together kid toys like vibrating robots, fans, etc. The very high 24000 rpm motor spec concerned me, but I think that is no-load, and it ran a small fan very well. I added an eccentric (off center) piece of glue gun stick to the shaft to cause the motor to vibrate, and that was perfect for a vibrating robot. The switch included is great, but it was a nice surprise to find that the battery pack included a switch too, so that simplifies construction of various projects. The motor mount which the motor slips into made very easy to mount the motor.

I bought them as a craft/teaching tool. We made "wigglebots" and motor powered cars out of foam. They worked great and my kids learned a lot about the conversion of electrical energy to mechanical energy. They also learned about electrical circuits when they wired the battery packs themselves. These motors spurred their imaginations to where my son comes up with all kinds of ideas for more, so we keep buying them to try out fans and fan powered cars, etc.... He is convinced he will be a design engineer and inventor one day.

All the parts were there but the wires are weak, thin and when stripping to expose enough wire to attach the wires fray. The wires attached to the motors are extremely fragile and come off easily. All items did work.

worked great for kids science project making a mini motor car out of Styrofoam.

The motors worked great once we got them put together right but it was a little hard to get it put together just right.

The media could not be loaded.  I really like the options w this motor. Switch the motor direction by changing the positive wires. Easy and very fun for the diy guy/gal!
