Great Book
Story after story speaks of the essence of the Holy Spirit. Seeking Christ is the foundation of excepting all that Jesus has done on our behalf. Do you accept Him first or do you seek Him first. The Holy Spirit continues to be the only magnitude of force. Setting things right, when we have gone of path.I too believe in miracles.Danni

A Testimony to Miracles of the Holy Spirit
Kathryn Kuhlman (1907 - 1976) was an evangelist who held "Miracle" meetings in which she preached the Gospel and people were healed of all sorts of medical condtions. Kuhlman hated the term "faith-healer", and always gave credit to the Holy Spirit for any miracles of healing that occurred in one of her healing crusades. This book is a case study of about 30 healings. Each story is about 10 pages in length, and each is well documented. Details are given for each miracle healing, how the sickness began, the prognosis, the healing, and the aftermath. Most, if not all of these cases had their healings confirmed by their doctors. If Miss Kuhlman was a fraud, as many of her critics claim, then this book (and two others that follow), stand in contrast to the critics. The stories stand on the evidence of the healing itself, and the supplementary documentation by medical doctors, family members, and friends. The cases presented are so detailed, they actually invite investigation; therefore, it is inconceivable that Kuhlman would present these stories of healing if there were not in fact true.Read the stories for yourself. As Fox News motto states, "We report - you decide".I wish I could have seen Miss Kuhlman in person. If after reading this book, you are interested in learing more about Miss Kuhlman, I suggest reading the following biography: Daughter of Destiny: Kathryn Kuhlman . This biography presents an unvarnished look at Kathryn Kuhlman.kone

Kathryn Kuhlman is a wonderful story teller in this book where God's awesome power is revealed!
I would dare to assume that the majority of Christians today currently attend churches where they are taught that the powerful moves of the Holy Spirit (Pentecost) had ceased when the last apostle died. We are referred to as "cessationists" by those blessed souls who don't not accept this doctrine at all. I call them "blessed" because for them, miracles are not considered aberrations but are real and common in today's world. God never closed up shop for healings, the gift of tongues, prophecy, and revelations. For those who would take off their doctrinal blinders and do some honest research on the subject, they will be rewarded with many fully documented stories where God has shown up and touched people in powerful ways.Reading this book would be a great place to start. Our God is always at work!

Some of them involve pretty radical replacement/renewal of a damaged organ - as with ...
If you are at all interested in (and willing to consider the possibility of) divine (ie by God) healing, then here are 21 very remarkable accounts. They are, most of them, written by the people who were healed, or someone close to them (eg mum of a baby healed of a club foot). There is some intro and comment from Kathryn Kuhlman as well. Some of them involve pretty radical replacement/renewal of a damaged organ - as with the man who lost the sight in his right eye when a wheat grain sized drop of molten iron splashed into it. The renewed right eye had no scar ... For those who, like me, find this book inspiring and encouraging, then Kuhlman also wrote "God can do it again" and "Nothing is impossible with God". For those interested in more philosophical discussion of miracles, there is "Miracles" by C S Lewis, who points out that the question of whether or not miracles are "possible" is a metaphysical question and as such, not decidable by science.

The Healing Power of God made real.
The power of God in healing is the motivating power of every believer. This book has full and authentic evidence of the dynamic of God at work in ordinary lives that had desperate need of healing that neither surgeon nor medicine could attain.
