I recently purchased a spool of hookup wire and I am extremely pleased with its quality and performance. The project I was working on had very little room in the enclosure and I needed to wire up 15 different components. This wire blew me away with how flexible it is! I was able to effortlessly solder and pack all of my components together, the other wire I was using wouldn't have stood a chance in the enclosure. I love the packaging for this wire too, the box functions as a spool holder and the wire stays secure inside of it, just pull on the strands that you poke out of the box when it's time to use them!

See picture. This white wire was held under flame along with a regular 18 ga wire for 40 seconds. The insulation on the standard wire burnt off but , surprisingly, this wire and it's insulation held up. Only had carbon deposit on it. This is being used in auto engine bay application.

I got this for my model trains and works great for all the tiny things and it works awesome

I purchased the 6 color set of 22 awg solid core wire, and overall I am extremely happy with the product!These rolls of wire are WAY smaller than I thought they would be, though! For some silly reason I thought each spool would be the size of a 1 kilogram roll of 3d printing filament, which is like 8"/20cm in diameter. instead they are a little under 2.25"/5.5cm in diameter. This is my mistake though, as when I look more closely at the other reviews the spools are clearly pretty small. It works wonderfully though, so no complaints there!The 22 awg solid core wire is easy to solder, the insulation is easy enough to strip off, and the wire is also sturdy enough to go into a breadboard easily, but flexible enough to be maneuvered where you need it.I think my only concern is that the insulation seems to degrade pretty quickly if you apply too much heat when soldering. I do wish I had read the listing more carefully, because it does state that the wire uses PVC insulation. My worry with this is that when PVC catches fire, it releases deadly hydrogen chloride gas into the air. Obviously it would be difficult to get the insulation to combust accidentally when soldering, but I still would have much preferred a wire with silicone insulation rather than PVC.Overall I am extremely impressed by this product! Any problems that I had were due to my own failure to read the listing and reviews before purchasing. I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for high quality, affordable wire for your electronics projects!

Works fine, but much too expensive. And how come electronic products aren't manufactured in the US anymore? We're going to regret becoming dependent upon China for items such as these.

you get what you pay for and for what i need it for it worked out ok something for back up but not sturdy enough box for a reg work shop. But meet my needs.

Good quality wire. Easy to strip silicone insulation (I use my teeth). Good, bright colours. Useful and convenient box/dispenser. It makes the shelf upon which it sits in my man-cave look business-like and active. Its mere presence makes me want to do more electrical projects. I feel the urge to wire things. Great product.

These silicon wires are really nice. As seen in the photo I'm using them on a robot arm project where the flexibility is important.But what I really like about this product is that each spool has its own "velcro"-like wrap to keep the wire from unravelling. I've never seen this before on wire spools and is such an obvious thing to have. It makes life so much easier being able to keep the wires tidy.The box (as shown in product photos) does have holes to allow the wire to be spooled through.

A pack of pre organised wires with holes in the box for dispensing. It makes me look organised and stops me using red and black everywhere when I'm in a fix. Good braided wire and good insulation quality. You get that good smell of durian too so your electronics project will be authentic.Thumbs up, very happy.

Well presented with velco 'tape' to stop each roll unwinding.Soft silicone insulation that is easy to remove.Solders well.All round nice product that makes the job easier.

The picture isn't representative of the product.The box it comes in can easily fit in the palm of your hand (its smaller than an average sized mobile phone)!
