Q: Will this fit my aftermarket downpipe? (Cobb downpipe)?

If you have the Grimmspeed adapter, it should work. This exhaust was built with the stock downpipe in mind.

Nah it should be ok I've ran it with the stock downpipe and with a maf performance catless as well. Didnt change any gaskets.

Yes. Fits 2015+ wrx with stock exhaust.

Q: with silencer on, will this exhaust sound similar to "stock" OEM exhaust and not cause much attention?

To answer this question, it’ll be similar to the freer flowing exhaust found in the STI. The WRX is super quiet. The exhaust is definitely noticeable though. There’s no drone with the silencer in, but it’s a full race exhaust with no silencer.
