L'Occitane Hydrating Peony Perfecting Face Cream for a More Luminous Skin Tone, 1.7 oz

There are several features in a face cream that I need: I need it to be lightweight. I need it to absorb quickly. I can't tolerate stickiness. I need a pleasant, not-too-potent, not-too-long-lasting, fragrance. Hard to find all those requirements in one cream. This one meets my requirements very nicely, thank you very much!This cream is not heavy, thick or greasy. It absorbs in its own time, which makes it just fine for winter use. It might not be my favorite during warmer months because--while it does not sit like a layer on top of my face--absorption is not instantaneous.The fragrance is pleasant, almost verges on too potent, but it is lovely. (If you do not like fragranced face products, this is not for you.) As to it being a "peony" fragrance, I'm not sold on that: There is a tanginess and a brightness that I don't really associate with the heady aroma of a bouquet of peony flowers.

I have sensative, oily skin (not a usual combination) and I have found that this works great - yes, you do need to moisturize even your oily complexion in the winter months. It is a bit thickfor the summer, but then I use a lighter weight version found on their website but can be ordered through Amazon. Both versions absorb quickly and do not cause breakouts. I think its more natural than many moisturizers and it smells great!!

I am on my third jar of L'Occitane Hydrating Peony Perfecting Cream. I love the sweet refreshing fragrance so much I bought the perfume, but it doesn't smell as good as the cream. It's a nice light moisturizer to relieve a dry face in the morning, and generally it lasts all day for dry skin. Sometimes I need to put more moisturizer on after work, but usually it keeps me comfortable all day.

L’Occitane was sold out of this and I needed it right away so I ordered from Amazon. I was worried about it being fake or old. It was authentic and not an imitation. The quality was fine.

This is my favorite spring/summer night cream. If it had SPF, I'd wear it during the day too. I prefer a heavier cream like their Immortale for fall/winter. It has a nice, floral smell, but be aware it is strong. If you have aversions to scent, this overall brand isn't for you.

Excellent, non greasy, light weight moisturizer. My favorite.

Love this moisturizer!!! Moisturizes without being heavy or oily. Wonderful under foundation or alone. Light pleasing aroma. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Nach langen Versuchen eine tolle Creme zu finden bin ich echt begeistert. Sie ist zwar etwas teurer aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Eigentlich habe ich eine sehr sensible Haut und vertrage kaum Cremes aber diese ist wirklich super. Zu den Inhaltsstoffen kann ich nur leider gar nichts sagen.

C'est la 2ème fois que j'achète ce produit. Rapport qualité prix par rapport à des crèmes de grandes marques, rien à dire!

This was recommended in store for me for normal skin and slight uneven skin tone. Good as a daily moisturizer for normal and dry skin as it is cream based. Good fragrance.
