Great product
This collar is typical Herm Sprenger quality. it was packed well, and had a new tag on it. I hope my pup doesn't outgrow this one! If he does, I will buy a larger one from this same company. They ship new items at a good price in packaging that lets me know this product is taken care of at their office. I use Dropit for all my Herm Sprenger items. As a matter of fact, I look to make sure i am buying from them when I order.

Works well until my pup sees a squirrel

stainless steel collar
The collar is slightly smaller than advertised. The 16" is about 15 1/2". The size issue was mentioned by other purchasers but for me it was just fine as I have a 25 lb. terrier that just barely fit a store bought 14" collar and this 16" inch is a better fit. The links are larger on this collar and the rings are also larger. The main thing is the stainless steel material. Store bought collars have lately been poorly plated and the chrome layer wears off quickly making them poor choices for long term use. If you allow for a small difference in actual length you should be very happy with this collar.

The Best Training collar
I have always used German made chokers for training my dogs. It does not hurt their fur or skin like some do. They are strong and yet gentle on the pup. I will always use the German made collars.

ADD 5" TO DOG NECK SIZE
My dogs neck is 17". I am supposed to add an extra 2"-3" for fit. I ordered a 20". The problem is that the 20" is actually 19" long - total. With the loops, the USABLE size is 17". Will order closer to a "22 inch to account for the deficit.Better larger than smaller.

Great collar
I have purchased several collars from this brand and you can’t get any better. Strong and durable with a great look. Works on my XL American bully that weighs 130 lbs.
