I’ve been having quite a few headaches lately, I think a mix of tension headaches and the fact the heating is on a lot, it is a solid fuel system, and the heat can be dry. I don’t like taking pain meds and even when I have given in and tried them they didn’t help. I know that my Gran used to use a cold cloth for her head with success, so I tried that a few times and it does help, but not practical when up and doing things.I thought that seeing the cold cloth helps that I would give these patches a try. They are easy to apply, they stick well and don’t pull the skin. You’d hardly know you were wearing one. The cold kicks in very soon after application, it really is soothing. I found that they help me a lot, and if I have to jump up and attend to anything it comes with me (unlike a cloth). They are chemical free, and the patch does not irritate my skin at all. At just under 75p per patch that lasts 8 hours they are good value.

He regularly uses ice packs, I said this could be good to try while away from home.But he agreed, he did find that the cooling feeling was nice but soon wear off.At the time of this review the price is £5.99 per pack. Which works out to be 75p per patch.So far not so goodI will update this review if needed.

In a box there are 8 cooling path has that can easily be cut to size and stuck to your forehead or face or head and neck to help sooth migraines, the and even stiffness. I use these on my forehead for migraines and either side of my jaw infront of my ear when dealing with TMJ as it soothes the rea without me having to hold something in the spot. I can then just relax ( usually go to bed) till it passes. If you suffer from very oily skin you may have a problem with adhesion, so make sure your face is fully cleansed before use. Roughly last 2-4 hours but I find near the end I need to push on the pad to get the last bit of cold. Watch when using that no pets are near especially if you have cut the pad to use as I worry that the contents could be toxic for them if licked.

These are only any good for headaches and not for joint pain.I don't get many headaches and they are usually from being overtired.These patches come in a cardboard box and inside you get eight individually packed patches in sachets.They stick well to the forehead but I do feel they could be a bit longer as cooling the temples usually helps my headaches and these don't reach my temples.These instantly feel very cold on my forehead and the coolness lasts.I did feel at one time that it was a little too cold and thus making my headache from cold.I managed to pull it off gently and then reapply it after ten minutes and it was still cold and restuck on my forehead.

These have an instant cooling effect on the forehead helping to cook down an overheated head.It can effectively help relieve the pain as I find it tricks the brain from registering the headache pain and tuning into the cold feeling instead.Coldness has been proven to help dramatically decrease the pain of a migraine if used during the onset.While it’s not preventative it certainly does help lessen the pain.

Nice feeling when you first apply it, it does as it says and it’s very cooling. Although this disappears quite quickly. Think an ice pack would be better. The menthol smell could be quite triggering for those that are sensitive to smell when having a migraine. Probably won’t buy again.

A very nice set of cool head patches. It helps me get through the night when I feel feverish. It helps to bring the temperature down a lot! It also makes me feel a lot more comfortable than how i felt without it. It does not feel uncomfortable or anything like that, it is very easy to stick on the forehead, and just as easy to remove the strip. It is a great quality strip and could even be kept in the fridge so that the coolness is in full effect when needed! Definitely would recommend, very satisfied with this.

I prefer to try cooling patches when I have a headache rather than reaching straight forthe paracetamol, so I was very keen to give these a go. I tried them when I had a mild headache and found them initially quite cooling and soothing. It definitely helped my headache. However, it states the relief lasts up to 8 hours. I found the patch losing its effect much quicker than that. In fact, after about 2 hours I felt it wasn’t really doing anything anymore.I think these patches are fine for mild headaches and to give short-term relief, but I’m not sure they’d be much use for a full-on headache.At £5.99 for 8 patches it works out that each patch would cost around 75p. That’s not very much so I’d say the cost is pretty good. I also like that these patches aren’t as wide as some others that I’ve bought before, so they fit on my forehead better. I think these patches could work really well to help soothe a child’s head when they have a temperature. They’re certainly a worthwhile addition to the medicine cabinet.
