Igus drylin bearings are great, but NOT for sovol SV06!
Like many, my Sovol SV06 3d printer had somewhat noisy and rough feeling bearings. I've used Igus bearings before and have been pleased, but these bearings are not dimensionally equivalent to the LM8UU bearings in the printer. The bearings wobble on the rods, and in the bed retainers as well. I ended up flushing out the OEM recirculating bearings and re-packing them with good lube. More hassle than just plopping in the Drylin bearings, but the only option in this case. I don't know if these bearings are incorrectly described or just plain wrong for the claimed interchange. UPDATE - just found out: These bearings are made to be compressed into a sleeve (press fit, not slid in) which closes up the bore of the bearing. Most (all?) 3 d printers only clamp the bearing OD so the ID will be loose.

Quieted Down SV06 But Destroyed Prints
Got these to replace bearings in my Sovol SV06 and I absolutely loved how silent they made the printer, however they also introduced terribly incosistant layers and artifacts in to my prints. I found out this was due to excessive play while they were on the rod. Ended up cleaning my old bearings in solvant and reinstalling. These bearing replacements will make your printer so quiet, but your print quality will suffer dramatically if they don't fit snug and perfect.Benchy facing left is bearings and benchy facing right is drylin replacements.

Quiet maintenance free replacement for metal bearings
I replaced the noisy ball bearings on my Sovol SV06 printer with these bearings. They operate quietly and smoothly. They also eliminate the need for lubricating the old ball bearings.

These actually work!! Me likey
A little skeptical in getting rid of actual bearings to use these but Im pleasantly surprised. You gotta work em in at first, inserting the 8mm linear rods over and over and over, and over..., which shaves of a little bit of the polymer each time. Once youve got them loosened up and the rod is sliding smoothly, take it out and in another 5 times. I didnt do that and installed them and they actually tightened up a bit, so keep that in mind. Now a month later and theyre smooth as butter. They impressed me, try them out and they will impress you too. Bye bye old school bearings haha...

Much better than the standard ball bearing type
For low (frictional) temperature applications.Used to replace recirculating ball bearing type.Very happy with these.Just make sure the bore in which they are installed is to the correct tolerance. Too tight and you'll get binding...too lose and the "preload" wont be right.Use lube as recommended by Igus

A mold lines on bearings but works pretty well. They have some give so if using on 3D printer like I did, they move a little bit with force but glide pretty well.Example: Wiping bed with cloth and cleaner moves it a bit in all directions, but always falls back to default location and prints well.Really important if more than one bearing on single axis to make as even as possible.

If you get an anet A8 plus start with these
like night and day vs the crappy metal ballbearing ones that came with the a8 plus. If you get an anet A8 plus start with these and chuck the included bearings in the trash

I really wanted these to work!
I purchased these for my Alunar M508 printer to replace the stock linear bearings. I really wanted these to work out because I read one review where the person said Igus was getting a bad rap for no reason. But there is a reason, these are made nicely, they look great BUT they are made with way toooo much clearance built into them which causes the x-axis and y-axis to wiggle and be sloppy which then affects the quality of the 3D prints, darn!! They are about 0.055" toooo big.

Work as intended.
These bearings work as intended on a Sovol SV06 X and Y axis. Will purchase from this seller again.

Gran compra para mejorar tu impresora
The media could not be loaded.
