I live in a super old house and it doesn't have convenient outlets or 3-way light switches near the stairs, so I wanted battery powered lights to replace the effective but inconvenient phone flashlight navigation method. Pros: The lights are bright enough to make a safe path in a dark house, placed every three steps. The motion sensors work well, and the individual lights seem to chain trigger themselves up or down once the first one lights up, which is a fun effect. The adhesive strips (3M) are strong and accidental bumping doesn't move them. It's easy to slide the plastic casing off of the backing for battery change, which i haven't needed to do yet (a few weeks since install). Cons: None of these were enough of a problem to effect my positive opinion, but it could be for some people. The bright white plastic casing stands out dramatically on stained wood and darker than white paint colors. The motion sensor is absolutely sensitive enough to be tripped by pets. In fact, one of my cats seems to think the lights are a game. Hoping that doesn't turn into a giant battery drain. I could have mounted them higher and avoided this, but if your pets are taller that may not be an option. And last, stair railings do seem to block the sensor. This might be a plus in some installs, but my stairs are against a wall with an approach typically from the side, so the sensor doesn't react until someone walks around to the first step. A dark house with cats is always dangerous to walk through so I'm willing to overlook this. The price seemed fair, the packing and instructions were good, and installation took a few minutes tops. As long as performance and battery life continue to be strong, I highly recommend these lights.

Pretty cool what we can do with LED's. I bought these because we have a dark staircase and a waterbowl for the dogs in the hallway which I'm sure I would fall down the stairs at some point or put my foot right in the dogs bowl. But not now. First off, well packaged and on time delivery. Once the batteries were in it did not light. I thought for sure if I covered the sensor it would light up but still no. I was worried. I went into a very dark room and it lit right up. Which surprised me. That factor also made me very happy! I had another set of lights that go on during the day if a shadow crosses them. Very pleased with the night motion sensor. The sensitivity and range are also perfect. If I am less than 6 feet it will light up. Further it ignores motion with is a battery saver as well. I have these mounted to the wall with the included double sided sticky pads and they stick very well. These are perfect for paths like hallways and staircases but don't expect them to light up the room. They are specifically designed to light up an area below them. If you do put them high enough to see the output of the light, it will be a shock to your eyes as they are very bright! The look and feel of the light during the day is nice. It's a little bulky and bright white so it does stand out a little but after some time you get used to it. Awesome little devices overall, and battery life for the 3 AAA's are up to one year. Impressive.

I came back to purchase a second set of 3 of these little motion-detecting lights because I was so pleased with the first 3 and wanted to put more around my home. They are small enough to fit discreetly in small areas and can also stand on a flat surface without adhesive. They only operate when the light level falls to a point when I need their help to see the area. The light is white and just the right level of brightness: enough to see clearly without affecting dark-adapted eyes. Now that I have purchased and set up all 6 lights (2 sets), I can report that all are working as they should and were shipped promptly and packed safely to prevent damage. I highly recommend these lights to prevent stumbling in the dark or having to turn on over-bright room lights in the middle of the night. UPDATE August 12, 2017: Two months later, three of the stick-up lights have fallen off onto the floor. They had been firmly pressed onto enameled wood, so this was unexpected. I really like these lights, but buyers should plan to augment attachment beyond just sticking them onto smooth surfaces as directed. UPDATE October 3, 2017: Now all the lights I stuck on doorways and other surfaces have fallen off. Looking closely, I found that it was not the bond to the surface or to the back of the units that failed, it was the white foam material inside the four round adhesive pads that sheared apart. When the lamps fell, four partial-thickness adhesive circles were left on the wall and the opposite sides were left on the unit. So I am docking one star, down to four, because the adhesive is terrible and falls apart in a few months. If you rest a lamp on a horizontal surface or use additional adhesive of a more reliable type, it's a great product.

Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase. I have them installed in my hallway and in the bathroom. The light is just the right amount of light so I can see where I'm going without turning on the main lights. The motion sensor is very responsive and picks up movement from a good distance. The light also lasts for a good amount of time after the motion has stopped before it turns off. The only downside is that they are not very effective in daylight. They seem to be more sensitive to movement in the dark than in the light. This is not a major issue for me as I mainly use them at night. I would highly recommend these motion sensor lights to anyone who needs a bit of extra light at night without having to turn on the main room lights. They are definitely worth the money and I am considering buying more for other areas in my house. Despite some negative reviews, I am glad I took the risk and purchased them. They have been a great addition to my home. If you're skeptical like I was, my advice would be to give them a try. You might be pleasantly surprised like I was. They are simple to install, work well, and are not overly expensive. Just remember they work best in the dark.

It's rare to come across a product that works simply but is very useful. I recently moved into a house that is in a very dark area and going downstairs, around a corner, and into the kitchen in near total darkness made me look for something like this. I bought a pack of 3, placed them, and then bought three more. Somehow they found the right combo of good motion detection, enough brightness to guide you but not too bright to blind you, and the right 20 second duration to get around. I don't write many reviews but felt this one deserved some actual usage praise. I've not had them long enough to know battery duration, but suspect they will last long. Even the battery compartment / plate is designed well: either stick them on or mount them permanently, but they let you remove the unit while leaving the plate on the wall. Easy to change batteries or take them out if you have guests in an area you normally would have these to temporarily disable them. These have a simple, useful design and I definitely recommend you try them out if you are on the fence. Making them "smart" would overcomplicate something easy.

I am pregnant so i get up a lot in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and these have saved me! my husband argued he didnt want a bright light in our room or bathroom in the middle of the night but these proved him wrong. they were perfect for when you're eyes have adjusted to the darkness or waking in the middle of the night. and even if they do turn on due to a cat or dog walking by, they arent too bright to wake you (and im sensitive to light, everything that blinks get black tape over them if i can see it at night). I put one across the room so it sees me when i get up, and along the bathroom, and one in front of the toilet and they are perfect to light the way. they only stay on for about 15-30 seconds as long as there's movement. and they only turn on if its dark enough. meaning they only turn on if you need them, so the battery is saved. Ive had them for a few months now and the battery is still strong. i was able to just stick them straight to the wall, but it had an option to mount with a nail or screw which seemed easy enough, but i figure i'd just use the adhesive pads that were provided in the box. I will be buying more for the baby room and all throughout the house. great price, great everything!

Le détecteur de mouvement est très efficace - à la limite trop ! - puisqu'il est capable de détecter tout mouvement dans un périmètre d'environ 10 mètres d'amplitude sur les côtés et 5 mètres de face. Dès que vous vous bougez, il ne vous manque pas ! La lumière s'éteindra d'elle-même après environ 40 secondes si l'appareil ne détecte pas de nouveaux mouvements. La lumière produite est d'un blanc chaud qui n'agresse pas même en pleine nuit, bien que la luminosité soit assez forte. Pour installer l'appareil vous avez le choix de... - Le poser à même le sol ou sur un meuble - Le coller au mur à l'aide des adhésifs fournis - L'accrocher au mur à l'aide des vis fournies Les veilleuses sont alimentées chacune par 3 piles AAA (non fournies). Vous n'en avez pas vraiment pas besoin, tant l'utilisation de ces appareils est évidente, mais le fabricant vous donne également un mode d'emploi très succinct... en anglais uniquement. J'ai hésité à ne donner que 4* à ce produit à cause de ce mode d'emploi en anglais qui ignore délibérément la Loi Toubon (à ma connaissance toujours en vigueur) qui exige que les instructions fournies soit (aussi) en français. Il semble que quoi que vous achetiez, de nos jours la majorité des produits vous obligent à savoir lire l'anglais et que le français ne soit même plus considéré. C'est inacceptable. Ce dernier point mis à part, ces veilleuses à détecteur de mouvement ne peuvent qu'être recommandées pour leurs qualités tant esthétiques que de fabrication et d'efficacité.

Pedí las EUFY porque tengo varias y han salido buenas, aún siendo costosas, pero conociendo la calidad. Y me llegaron unas chinas, de otra marca que nada que ver!! Y ahora la devolución súper complicada y me toca a mí asumir el costo. Me siento estafada!!

They are high quality, compact, easy to attach either by sticker or screws (which are provided). Good range and high perception lights which illuminate in dark only when a person in range for about 15 seconds. Highly recommended.

Luci che illuminano (di notte, dopo il crepuscolo) con discrezione e non abbagliano o infastidiscono quando si accendono alla percezione di un movimento. La reattività è buona, l'applicazione è banalmente facile e risulta rapidissimo staccarle dal muro/mobile per la ricarica che dura parecchio in condizioni d'uso "normali": sono molto soddisfatto!
