Q: Could this be used as an office chair/long amounts of comfortable sitting?

All depends. I bought this for my father who has sat in a chair like this for the last 50 years. He could sit in it for hours. It is well made. I could not use this as an office chair, but that’s because I am used to ergonomic chairs that can be adjusted to match the height of my desk and placement of my keyboard.

Q: In the product specification it states two dining chairs- is this order for one chair or two?

I ordered and received one chair. A similarly styled chair with no arm rests comes in a set of two. BTW - I bought this for my father - he loves it. Very sturdy and classy.

Q: Is there any possibility of getting this chair entirely “light oak” colored? or is it just black or light oak/nutmeg?

Mine came, I would say they are already light oak. They are not like bleached out pine if that is how light you want. Light oak yes.
