I love this stuff. I use it on my oilskin jackets, pants and hats and it is as waterproof as anything else I've ever tried. Lasts a long time also.

To get my ankle length oilskin coat from no wax to fully waxed required 3 jars including the cape and extra on all the seams. My Driza-Bone riding coat had a pretty funky smell that vinegar couldn't get rid of. So I ran it through the washing machine 3 times to get all the old oil/wax out. Afterwards I had to steam clean the washer because it leaves quite the mess in the drum. Hung it up to air dry for a few days. Then for rewaxing I heated the wax up in warm water until it was nearly melted then worked it into the fabric by hand and scraped the excess off with a silicone scraper. After I got the coat fully waxed I tossed it in the dryer on low for about 5 minutes to get the coat warm so I could rub the wax with a microfiber towel to get a consistent coating. Now the duster looks brand new and doesn't stink.

The pro’s: it’s the “real stuff” that your Outback coat came treated with. It goes on easily.. doesn’t clump up /require you to use a heat gun or lay the coat out in the hot Sun for hours before hand to apply. Absorbs evenly into the coat within a few days after application. The cons. It’s a small container. So if coat is older and really dried out. It’s going to take two of these to do the whole coat. The competitors product comes in a much bigger container for a similar price.

Good quality product. Worked great in restoring an old oil slicker coat. Very impressed with how little I had to do to finish this long jacket. Very easy to use and does what it is supposed to do.

This is the good stuff. I've been using this cream to waterproof boots and oilskin products for ages. The latest item I needed to touch up was my Outback Trading Co. Grizzly Outback Oilskin Hat. This matched the product already on the hat perfectly.

Worked fantastically!! My hat was faded from the sun and this stuff brought it rite back!!!
