What can I say, after loading all the drivers and restarting the old 'puter this baby worked just fine. My computer didn't come equipped with Bluetooth so this bargain priced little guy did the trick just fine. I would say the only problem I have (with just about ANY Bluetooth device) is that strobing blue LED that indicates the device is alive. Not a problem when the ambient light is high but distracting when the lights go low. That was easily remedied with a small piece of black electrical tape, the same stuff I use on all my "I'm Alive" flashing strobe lights on all my devices. I recommend this product without reservation.

I installed it on a Windows 7 computer using the included software. I use it with a blue tooth speaker which shows up as two devices: one is a hands-free audio device and the other is a stereo device; the speaker is not stereo, but connecting to that device provides much better quality sound. Your device may be identified differently, but if it shows up in your sound control panel as more than one device be sure to try out each one to see which provides the best sound.The range is the best I have found for several blue tooth adapters, none of which provide anywhere near their claimed maximum range in actual usage with anything around that the the signal must pass through of bounce off of.

This gizmo worked on the first go round with no muss nor fuss to connect my new laptop with my new Cricut Explore. My new Laptop is supposed to have bluetooth builtin but if its there it doesn't show up in Device Manager. Sometimes I hate hooking devices to other Bluetooth devices. I am not exaggerating. Seems to me this should be simple but too often it is a fiddly nightmare. One must turn BT on/off of turning off BT, checking the other device continually, dealing with "No Connection" and "Device Not Found" messages. Arghhhhhhhh! But no problem whatsoever connecting my Cricut with the laptop with the Mediastic USB Bluetooth Adapter. Is credit due to Cricut (Provo Craft)? Maybe. Is credit all due to Mediastic? Maybe. Maybe they both deserve credit. I don't know for sure but I am happy!

I regret it so much, but it is so cheap I won't waste more money or time on it, you may think that you just put it in your PC, install the drivers and voilá, but Windows will not run any bluetooth device for it keep asking for more drivers that are just impossible to get. I wanted to connect a set of speakers to my PC, no bluetooth speakers include drivers, but windows ask for the speaker drivers. The manufacturer website is a joke made in wordpress with no phones.(Update.- The email support was enought to work out a solution that put the device in good work, so, it is working as originally expected and i don't regret the buying anymore. :) I just wish they had better instructions or installation software because it required a specific path to install other than the one that comes as default.

This is the second Bluetooth adapter i purchased for my Windows 8.1 laptop. The first one never worked well. It was very difficult to get it to connect devices and it would forget those devices at every restart. Mediastic is the opposite experience. The drivers were very easy to install from the included CD and pairing was a breeze and best of all it remembers devices. I am very happy and would highly recommend this. You can also use multiple Bluetooth devices at the same time. I'm using a Bluetooth keyboard right now while listening to music streaming to my Bluetooth speakers.

I ordered this item because of the cost and I just received a wireless headset. I did not think about the operating system at the time (two days after I ordered it, I thought about it). Now what the **** am I going to do if it does not work on my system, (I ordered two because of the price). I just dumped my W$N 7 system for Linux. This Dongle works, IT WORKS, plugged it in, it came on, the system saw it, made it viewable on the desktop, turned on the headset, selected the headset in the system, IT JUST PLAN WORKS. I hit the power button when it goes silent( I have to get coffee sometime) that only happens when I am 25 feet from the system. ALL I CAN SAY IS IT WORKS. The headset is the Sony MDR-ZX750BN, Linux Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. It's only been four days since I've received it but IT WORKS

My new laptop didn't come with Bluetooth so I bought this very reasonably priced adapter. It comes with a mini-disk with the drivers, but my computer had no problems reading or installing the drivers from the didk. From that point on, it just worked in the background. My laptop runs Windows 7 professional 64 bit and discovering my Jabra Soulmate speaker went seamlessly. All in all, I highly recommend the Meadiastic USB Bluetooth adapter.

I needed this for an old school headset that didn't have it's own dongle and it worked so there's not much else to say.
