I returned these lovely boots as they were very uncomfortable for my feet.still waiting for the refund.

While in the middle of revamping my small collection of boots I happened across this very nice looking nine inch logger style modal from 'Ad Tech'. First off I like the style, color and fit. The leather is firm smooth and beautiful. The insole is thick and deep with modest arch support. The only draw back I find at first wearing are the heel cups. There is absolutely no padding. Therefore, I am subtracting one star from my five star rating. The stitching of the heel cup is slightly raised and helps form the heel cup, but is causing some noticeable irritation to heel. A bit more break in time is needed here as well as some minor tying adjustments. There is no slippage of heel as it is held well in place and feels as one with the boot when walking. These boots feel good across the arch of the foot with good adjustment range in lacing. These are really nice looking boots and I hope the heel cup issue is solved with time.

I bought these expecting a low quality boot. For a product made in China these exceeded my expectations. I'd say they are well beyond okay but not the very best. A name brand boot of this quality would run you well over 200 dollars. I bought these half a size too large like other reviewers said to do. They are actually slightly too large now. Maybe the company took note and changed the sizing chart. With socks on it may fill in. I would highly recommend using Hubbard's boot grease before wearing these. Give it a few coats and bend the boot in places it would get worn. I expect these will last a season fighting wildfires. If it goes beyond that I'll be back to update my review. These would be a good investment for anyone who doesn't want to break the bank.

These boots have proven very well made. I average about 2 years of daily wear out of them before I end up wearing the soles totally uneven due to how I walk. The leather and stitching however still has plenty of life left in them at that point though. They come preoiled, but I still use a good coat of Huberd's shoe grease on them when I get them to help condition them.
