Intended just using this as a DAB+ radio with a bonus of it being portable and bluetooth capable.Love the sound quality and the barely mentioned features.Now using this as main alarm clock radio having not realised that it had the feature!As a bonus, the display/backlight can be set to be off when not in use and visible when the radio is on. We live in a slight DAB blackspot, so with the aerial fully extended, sat on the worktop, the scan only finds 54 stations, however, lifting the radio so the aerial is nearly touching the ceiling the scan finds over 100 stations, and once it knows about them it can play them sat on the worktop again.The only things I would change/tweak - a longer aerial (see lifting to ceiling above); allow the minimum alarm volume to be 3 rather than 4 blocks; extend the alarm duration to 120 mins.So good that I'm considering getting another for the office this one was intended for!

I bought this to replace my old dab radio and what a replacement this has been.The sound quality is much better bass sounds like 3D. Its has DAB+ feature which enables more radio channels. The display is very good it shows the time in big digits while even while playing. And what I like the most is that it can be unplugged with its rechargeable battery. I haven't really used the full battery on it yet before recharging so I am unsure what the battery life is. Very impressed

When it first arrived I thought it was no good as 100% no signal for either DAB or FM, then I unplugged the charger and suddenly good signal for all channels!! Will not get signal while on charge / plugged in, therefore if it can only be used off its battery the battery should last longer than 4 hours. Sound is quite good but bass is punchy/boxy sounding rather than a nice soft/low sound. Overall happy with this, just rememebr to charge it between uses.On other thing was this was sold as new but box had already been opened and there was no manual inside or the plastic protective wrapping you usually get with this type of goods. It's good as new and there are now none in stock so pointless sending it back. Manual available as .pdf off website so can make do with this.

Surprisingly good sound for a radio of this class, aesthetically made, the DAB system works perfectly but I have to take one star because of a defect. The radio signal is reduced to zero during charging. Fortunately, it doesn't take long to fully charge the battery. The operation of the menu could also be a bit more intuitive ... in general: I'm happy with my purchase.

beautiful design easy to use

Looks like a nice radio and good sound quality. But only really works on the battery, when the power supply is turned on it causes so much interference it loses the channel. It seems like other reviewers have had the same problem. Returned straight away for refund.

This item has currently stopped or barely picked up any DAB stations, even ones in my area. I have a smaller less powerful dab radio which works fine when in the same position. Not happy for £50. Looks the part but mutton dressed as lamb comes to mind, avoid unless you like wasting money.

Its a radio and its ideal for a small kitchen space and its quality is 100%
