Very Good Quality

This replaces a lightweight case I had purchased when I first received the S8 Ultra tablet because the keyboard case was backordered.The first was adequate for some protection but this one is much better and nicer looking also. I especially like the two elastic straps that secure the pen in two positions. Most other cases I have seen rely on the the tablet's magnetic strip to keep the pen safe. Usually that is okay but it still can be knocked off the case somewhat easily.I have the Keyboard case also but unless I am at a table using it I find it awkward and heavier in use.This Denim and Brown case is very nice for an expensive tablet and is easy to use.JohnRe: CMD's comment about cover folded back shutting off tablet, I haven't seen that happening with mine.

First impressions of the case was that it was really nice, good looking and robust. But after trying to take out my tablet for the first time, I noticed how some of the stitching was holding on for dear life and one even letting a bit loose. It wasn't noticeable so I didn't mind it, and have since been very careful with how I handle the case.The second issue arose when trying to write with the tablet and the case unfolded. The magnet kept triggering the hall effect sensor, so the tablet keeps getting shut off. It is extremely annoying when writing or taking notes, and only when positioning the case in certain angles it seems to work, but I don't find this acceptable.So design wise 5/5, build 3/5, usability 2/5. I would bump all of this up if someone could give me advice on how not to trigger the hall effect sensor, but this is really cumbersome.
